Chapter 20

"I'm going to help you through all of this" Niall says

I stay silent.

"I really care about you" he says

"I care about you too" I say

Does he feel the same way? I know at the hospital he said I love you but did he really mean it? Or was he just trying to calm me down? Or was he just trying to mess with my emotions?

"Do you need anything?" he asks

"Can you turn on the TV?" I ask

"Of course" he says smiling

After watching 3 episodes of friends I feel myself drifting off to sleep...

All I remember is seeing Niall on the small couch by the window in my room.

Niall's POV

Soon Alex falls asleep and I just watch her sleeping. Not in a creepy way but I'm just admiring her. Her hair is sprawled around the pillow. Her lips are slightly apart. She looks slightly uncomfortable with a cast around her arm. Her ribcage her bandaged up and she has a brace around her ankle. I feel so bad for her. She's in so much pain and it hurts to look at her broken body. Not just physically but also internally. Her seeing her mom and just everyday life. Then me? I cause a lot of emotions for her? It seemed as they were bad and good. Does she love me? What does she feel? Do I need to confess my love for her soon? I'm seriously going crazy with all this.

Soon a knock on the door irrupts my thoughts.

I quietly go down the stairs and see I woman that has caused Alex so much pain and is also partially the reason why Alex got into the car crash.

I open up the door and see her mom and a man holding a vase of flowers.

"Your name is Niall right?" her mom asks

"Yes, and I never got to catch your name.." I trail off

"I'm Kimberly and this is my husband Eric" she says

"Hello, and why are you here? Alex is sleeping and I don't mean to sound rude but I don't think she wants to see you"

"It's just a teenage thing. Also it's Alex. She has anger issues" she says but she's smiling

Alex does not have anger issues.

She's been emotional lately because of this damn lady.

"She doesn't have anger issues. You haven't seen her since she was 13. She's almost 18" I state

"You can believe whatever you want to. I would like to speak to her" she says but she's rolling her eyes

"I told you that she's sleeping" I say

"I guess I'll have to wait" she says sitting on the couch

After 10 minutes of silence she speaks up.

"So how long have you and Alex been dating" She asks

"We aren't dating" I say

I wish we were...

"Oh so friends with benefits?" she asks raising an eyebrow

"No!" I say a bit too loudly

"Have you guys had sex?" she asks

"Kimberly..." Eric says

"That's none of your concern" I say boldly

"I think it is" she says

"It isn't. It's Alex's life" I say

"Kimberly, the damn girl is turning 18 in 4 days. That's none of your concern anyways. It's her life" Eric says

Thank God somebody agrees with me.

Soon I hear crutches.

Does she have to come down now?

"Niall?" I hear her say

"Alex! Your awake!" her mom says

Alex glares at me.

"You need to leave" she tells her mom

'Sweetie, I want to talk to you" her mom says

"Please, I'll talk to you later" she tells her mom

What?

"Fine" her mom and Eric walk out the door

"I'm not talking to her" she says rolling her eyes

Alex's POV

Why'd she come here?

Does she not get the memo that I don't like her?

"She stresses me out" I say sitting down

"I hate that she does that" Niall says

I give a small smile.

Soon he sit down on the couch right next to me.

Our faces are inches apart.

I don't think I want to tell Niall I love him now. I want to tell him that at the right moment.

I don't think it's time to say that in a lonely house on a dreary day.

"Your so beautiful" he says

"Thanks" I blush and smile

Soon his lips are connected to mine and I put my arm that's not broken around his neck.

The kiss is out of need. I feel like I've been electrocuted.

This might physically hurt but it's all worth it.

"Alex" he moans

"Yes" I say

Soon he lifts me gently still kissing me and makes our way to my room.

Oh God.

Soon he lays me softly down on the bed.

He's doing his best not to hurt me and that just makes me love him more.

Soon he's on top of me kissing me.

We are sadly interrupted by the front door opening.

"Seriously" I say

All Niall does is smirk.
