“I find it hilarious that you think your sharing a room with me” I tease and start to unpack my suitcase
“Oh c’mon, I know you want to share a room with me. Imagine the things we could do..” he says
“That sounds tempting” I laugh and hang up my clothes in the closet
“So tempting that we can share a room?” Niall says and wraps his arms around my waist
“What if my dad ever knocks on my door wanting to check up on me? Or if your dad tries to come to your room and you aren’t there!” I say
“First of all, my dad knows we’re dating and I’m 20 years old. Also so what if your dad finds out about us? It’s not like he’ll walk in on us having sex and your 18 years old, Alex!” Niall says and kisses my cheek
“Move your shit to my room” I laugh
“I’m always right, aren’t I? Admit it” Niall says cheekily
“Whatever!” I laugh
“I’ll be right back” Niall laughs and walk out of the room
Soon I get a call from Keirstyn. I haven’t talked to her since yesterday and she told me to call her after I got here.
“Hey!” I say excitingly into the phone
“Your dog is a little shit” she laughs
“Don’t call Daisy that!” I scold her playfully
“I took her to my house because I didn’t want to leave her alone. So I fed her and then I took a nap and I woke up to her barking and she chewed up my english paper” she says
“I’m sorry!” I say
“I saved the file on the computer so I’m thankful for that” she says
Soon Niall comes into the room with all his stuff and 2 cokes. I talked to Keirstyn a bit more while Niall was putting away his clothes. The phone call ended of Keirstyn saying to be safe but have fun.
“The dinner starts at 6:30 and it’s already 5” I groan
“You have plenty of time” Niall says
“No I don’t. I have to take a shower, dry my hair, straighten it, put on make- up, pick out my outfit, and make sure Austin is ready. He’s 20 years old and when I’m around him I have to act like his mother” I say
“Have you talked to your-“ Niall begins to say but I cut him off
“I’m going to take a shower” I say and walk into the bathroom
I turn on the water and it soon turns the temperature I want it to be. While I’m in the shower I start to think of my mom and how I wished I had a better relationship with her. I remember when Niall and I were first dating he asked me what had happened between my mom and I. I didn’t say anything but he said that I could tell him later. He probably forgot and there’s no need to say anything. It’s a personal thing even though I love him, I don’t want to talk about it.
Niall’s POV
I was about to ask her if she had talked to her mom but she cut me off and went to take a shower. Has she talked to her or not? She will tell me one day about what happened right? Her mom is stuck up and thinks she knows everything and it agitates me. I defianatly know it agitates Alex.
Soon Alex comes out of the bathroom and pulls on a pair of exercise shorts and a tank top and walks back into the bathroom. I hear the sound of the hair dyer for a few minutes and then it shuts off.
“What time is it?” Alex asks
“5:30” I say
She walks back into the bathroom and straightens her hair. I don’t get why she doesn’t like her naturally wavy hair. I absolutely love it but I guess she doesn’t.
“I really like your natural hair. I like it straighten too but I really like your wavy hair” I say and lean against the door of the bathroom
“Really?” she smiles
“Yeah, really” I smile back
“I’ll start wearing it wavy sometimes then” she says
“Sounds good to me” I smile once a again
I see her put on foundation and mascara. She walks out of the bathroom and looks through the closet to wear. She chooses a navy colored dress that is snug but it’s suppose to be that way. She pulls out a pair of white heals and I eye her up and down.
“Do I look okay?” she asks
“You look absolutely stunning” I say
She blushes and I walk over to her and kiss her. She smiles in the kiss and I smile too.
“I’m gonna make sure that Austin is almost ready. You get ready now” she says and grabs the room key and walks out
It’s 6:00 now and I take a quick shower. I dry my hair and style in a quiff. I dress in a navy colored suit to match with Alex with a white tie. Soon Alex walks in the room and she smiles at me.
“Oh look, we’re matching” she giggles
“I meant it to be that way” I say and hug her
“We need to head down to the conference room downstairs. Austin was sleeping so I had to wake him up. He’s getting ready now. It’s already 6:25. I also have to be greeted by so many people like always.” she groans
“It’s okay, babe. I’ll be with you” I smile and kiss her
Alex’s POV
We take the elevator downstairs and we walk into a room filled with lots of people chatting and laughing. I soon find Austin with my dad and 2 business men. I can see he’s dying to get out of the conversation. It’s gets old after awhile.
“Champagne, miss?” a waiter greets me
“Yes please” I say and receive the champagne

After a few glasses of champagne my head starts to get fuzzy. I had about 3 glasses and Niall telling me to have enough. He’s gotten drunk before so why is he scolding me about it?
“I’m going to the bathroom” I say and wiggle out of Niall’s arms
“I’ll be right here” Niall says
I soon use the bathroom and come out and walk down the hall to see another waiter greet me with a glass. Why not have another glass?
Niall’s POV
Where is she? She’s been in the bathroom for 20 minutes. I’ve been telling her to slow down on the champagne but all she does is tell me ‘it isn’t gonna hurt anybody so why not have another glass?’.
I begin to search the whole room that is filled with people but I can’t find her.
I soon see Austin and walk up to him.
“Where’s Alex?” I ask
“I don’t know. My dad wants to see her right now though” Austin says and tries to search with me to find Alex
I don’t think Mr. Carter will be too happy seeing a drunk Alex.
