Niall's POV

The car ride consists of Alex and I talking about if we wanted to go out to dinner tonight. We agreed and we're going to a pizza place downtown. Alex says that they have really good food. We enter Alex's house and we walk up to Alex's bedroom.

"Detention was so boring" she huffs and lays down on her bed

"I bet" I say and sit next to her and rub circles on her back

"It's already 4:00. What time are we going to get dinner?" she asks

"5:30?" I say

"Sounds great" she says

Alex and I decide to watch Full house but within the first episode she's fast asleep.

Her phone soon beeps and I divert my attention to her phone.

Text message from Keirstyn

Should I check it? I'm being nosy but I can't help but grab her phone and see what the text said.

Keirstyn:

What happened with Cameron this morning?

Wait what?

I decide to answer back acting as if I was Alex.

Me/Alex:

What?

Keirstyn:

Somebody told me that they saw you guys in the back of the school. You guys looked pretty angry and the guy said that it looked like Cameron was about to hit you

I decide not to answer. I'm pissed. Beyond pissed. Why wouldn't she tell me? Also why the hell did he touch my girl?

Soon at 5:30 I wake Alex up. I'm pissed at her. Yet curious of why she didn't tell me. I'm her boyfriend! She should tell me this stuff!

"Alex, lets go to dinner" I gently shake her shoulder

"Okay" she says and gets out of bed

She puts on her sandals and we head out the door.

"Lets take my car" she smiles

"Fine" I mutter

The car ride to the restaurant is filled with silence. I see a frown on her face and it saddens me. How was her reaction to her encounter with her ex boyfriend? What did she say?

"Niall, we're here" she smiles and places a hand on my thigh

I don't respond and I get out of the car and head into the restaurant. We are automatically seated. Our waiter takes our drink orders and the table is left silent. The waiter comes back with our sweet tea that Alex ordered and a coke that I ordered. He soon takes our order that consists of a cheese pizza.

"That will be out soon" the waiter says

"How was your day?" she asks

"It was great" I say monotone

She frowns but covers that up quickly but with smile

"That's great" she says

"Besides detention, how was school?" I ask

"Boring" she says

"No drama today?" I ask

"No?" she says and raises an eyebrow

"Nothing you want to tell me?" I say

"Is there something wrong?" she questions with a frown

"Why were you talking to Cameron?" I say and she takes a deep breath
