She didn't remember much. Just that he walked in, sat down at the bar instead of at a table and stared blankly at the menu for about 10 minutes.

She remembered him putting down the menu, she remembered her heart beating rapidly as she walked up to him as it did anytime she had to speak to anyone she found attractive. She remember that too, how attractive he was. She remembered steadying her hands as she spoke to him.

"Hey there, what can I get you?"

"All the workers out of here, for their safety and yours."

"Excuse me?"

"Stay calm and listen carefully. Don't look now, but the men sitting behind me are criminals, and they're about to hold you up at gunpoint, so unless you want to end up dead or worse, start emptying the place."

And before she knew it, she was quietly clearing out all the workers from the bar. She didn't know why  she trusted him, but something inside told her to do as he said. But when she returned for her purse, she had been hit in the head and knocked out.

She had no idea what happened while she was out, but next thing she knew she was awake, and sitting  in the passenger seat of a car.
