I can't believe I never noticed it before!! Nico's voice was absolutely angelic. It had that slight Italian accent that I had grown so used to.
"Can you speak Italian?" He nodded. "Why don't you?"
"I haven't spoken much of it since my sister..."
"Oh, sorry Neeks." I whispered, hugged him.
"Va bene ti amo." He whispered back. I didn't know any Italian, but I could tell that he said he loved me. It warmed me up.
"It's beautiful. The language, and the way you speak it."
"Thanks. It was my first language- it comes easier than I remember." He smiled a little.
"Say something else."
"Vuoi essere il mio ragazzo?"
"What does that mean?" He paused, then smirked.
"Figure it out." He kissed my cheek and left the dorm, leaving me to repeat those words over and over again in my head.
