"Ya ok" I could hear Elliot yelling from the truck. I looked back to him and gave him a big smile and said "yeah, I'm ok.... just some old memories of somebody". "Really, of who?" he asked me as he got closer to where I was. I stepped out of the water to walk up to him. "Joey" I told him. "Who was Joey" he asked me. I smiled and told him " he was my older brother that passed away a few years ago" I said with tears appearing in my eyes from remembering those last few days, and the last words he said to me.
"He must have meant a lot to you" he replied while whipping away my tears. "yeah, he did" I replied to Elliot. He looked down at me and smiled "so, you wanna go somewheres else, maybe my house or the movies". I replied "maybe we could go watch a movie at your house". He bent down and kissed my forehead and said "it's a date". then he grabbed my hand and we started to walk up to the truck.
