Chapter 44 - Part Two

"Tori Buchanan, will you marry me?"

I stared at that beautiful face of his as he was on one knee in front of me, tears fled down my face as I stared at him. Silence over came us for a few seconds.

"Of course I'll marry you." I cried out, almost in a sob. He flew up and quickly put the ring on my finger before cradling me in a hug. A few seconds went by before we let go of each other.

"I love you." I said as I stared up at him. He smiled and kissed me.

"I love you too."

"So why were you at my parents earlier?" I asked as we sat on the couch in Jenna's house.

"I've got to get the fathers' permission, don't I?" He asked.

"He approves?" I asked, he nodded.

"He said whatever makes his daughter happy, makes him happy. Whether or not he hates me." Jc said.

"He'll come around, I promise." I said. Jc pulled my legs up on his lap and wrapped his arms around me.

"You should go talk to them. They didn't know you were in Florida."

"Did you tell them I was here?!" I asked him frantically.

"No. When they asked where you were, I said you were in Los Angeles with Andrea and Jenn."

"Good. I don't want them finding out I'm here or they'll want me to tell them like everything that's happened over the past few weeks and I don't know if I can handle that." I said, he started rubbing circles in my back and he rested his forehead against my shoulder.

"That's behind us babe, we just gotta look out for the future." He said, I nodded.

"When do you think we will get married?" I asked, he shrugged.

"Whenever we're both ready, have our set careers... Maybe a few years from now?" He asked, I nodded.

"That sounds great." I said as I kissed him softly. We were interupted by the front door opening and closing.

"Tor, your mom's outside asking if I'd seen Jc. I guess she wants to talk to him." Jenna said as she sat down on the couch next to us.

"What'd you tell her?"

"I said that I don't know where he is but I'm sure he'll be back soon since the next flight for Los Angeles isn't until tomorrow." I nodded.

"Good cover up." I laughed. She shrugged.

"But you should go talk to her, she asked me about my college plans and asked if I knew anything about yours. I guess your dad wants to buy some house or something at the lake and is gonna use your college money." I raised my eyebrows and got up off Jc.

"She said that money was secure until I needed it, whether it be for college or a house or anything. Now my dad's gonna waste it on some house they'll never use?" I said as soon as I stood up.

"Tor, the money's been sitting in some account since we were freshman, it's understandable that they would spend it considering you support yourself." Jenna said, I immediately got angry and went over to my parents house. I don't care if I have to explain myself to them. I let myself in and stopped as soon as I seen my mom in the kitchen.

"You're going to use my college money to buy a damn house you'll never use?" I asked, once she realized it was me she turned around.

"No, no. Honey, you know that money's always yours. Your father is stuck on the idea that you won't go to college so he wants to spend it.. If you plan on going to college sometime, we won't spend it."

"What gives you the idea that I won't go to college? Plenty of kids don't go to college right out of highschool.."

"It's not that honey, it's just that you've gone so far in your career already that he doesn't think you need to be educated in that way."

"What the hell am I suppose to do when YouTube isn't my life anymore? I don't have anything to fall back on. Of course I want to go to college." I said, she walked over to the couch and patted the seat beside her.

"What about your future with Jc? You both have very good jobs and you're bound to have money to fall back on." I rolled my eyes.

"Mom, Jc doesn't have a degree either. I won't have anything to fall back on and I want to go to college!" I screamed at her.

"Okay, okay. I'll talk to your father. I promise.. But since your here. Do you plan on telling me what happened?" She asked. I went on to tell her everything that's happened between Jc and I..

"So I'm guessing by that rock on your finger, you said yes?" She asked, I smiled. She took me into a hug and rocked me back and forth like she used to when I was little.

"My baby's getting married! When do you plan on getting married?" She asked.

"We're going to wait until we're both ready to be settled and commited, probably in a few years." She nodded.

"So after you go to college?" She asked, I smiled.

"Yeah, after I go to college."
