"Sound familiar?" Hotch asks me.

I shake my head but his expression doesn't change.

"Hotch, I swear I don't know him."

"Then how does he know your name?"

"I don't know. I guess I'll have to go in there like he says and see if I can find out."

He doesn't respond so I keep looking at him questioningly.

"My silence is your que."

I walk into the room.

"Hello, Erica. Nice to see you again."

"How do you know me?"

He smiles "Come here and I'll tell you."

I walk over cautiously.

"You might want to sit down."

I shake my head.

"Don't say I didn't warn you."

"About what?"

"You don't seem like the type of girl who'd come here."

"You're getting up?" Morgan asks.

"Might as well. I doubt I'm getting any sleep anytime soon."

"Do you want to talk about it?"

"Not really."

I walk quickly out of the room and down the stairs into the casino area.

"Would you like to purchase some chips for our slot machines?" a girl in some kind of company uniform asks.

"No thanks."

I had no intention of doing any gambling.

"A pepsi please." I say to the man at the bar, handing him a five dollar bill "Keep the change."

I hear footsteps aproach me from behind and someone sits down beside me.

"You don't seem like the kind of girl who'd come here." says a sandy-blonde haired man.

"Is that so?"

"Yes. You seem like you wouldn't be caught dead getting mixed up in gambling."

"Well you're right about that much."

"I'm Patrick Jane, but you can call me Jane."

"Why so formal?"

"Actually it isn't formal for me. I work with the CBI."

"Is that so?"

"Yep."

"Can I see your badge?"

"I'm not actually an official member. I'm just a consultant."

"What do you do then, exactly?"

"Give them advice and leads when they're in over their heads, which is always."

I laugh. "You hold them in such high regard."

"Actually, a few of them are close friends. Besides the point, I saw you on TV."

"Yeah?" I say, feeling slightly uneasy.

"So you're a member of the FBI?"

"I'd like to be." he looks at me with confusion "I'm only a graduate on trial."
