"What? Whaaaat?" I was woken up by Mike shaking me like it was the end of the world.
"My uncle is here." He said through his teeth. "Hide yourself. Now!"
I heard what he was saying but I was still confused as to what exactly was going on since I just woke up.
"What?"
He glared at me and pushed me to the floor.
"The hell is wrong with you!" I whisper yelled.
"You tryna get us caught or sum?" He shook his head and told me to hide under the bed.
"Michael? Is everything okay in there?" His uncle yelled from the hallway.
"Yeah. Just a sec!"
He didn't open the door for him until I was completely out of sight.
"Hey. What took you so long?"
"Oh nothing. I had to move something out of the way. That's all."
"Alright. Well I won't be here long. Just wanted to talk to you."
Mike shut the door and pulled out a chair for his uncle while he got his clothes from the closet. The bed wasn't that low so I had a good view.
"How do you feel about living here so far?"
"I love it!"
"Really?"
"Yeah but to be honest, I really miss being in Cali."
