No song could ever sum up how I feel right now.

I woke up this morning feeling so small. I knew America had its problems; that this world would never be filled with people who all shared a common opinion but I never thought that this would happen.

We live in the world deep-rooted in hate. America and the people who chose to use their right to vote for that man made it perfectly clear where we all stand. Yesterday marked the beginning of something far worse than we've ever seen. I'm not being dramatic, I'm being truthful, when I say that no good will come from this.

I'm heartbroken and I'm scared not only for myself but for every woman, minority, LGBT+ contribute, immigrant, and anyone else who feels how I do right now. First we were a broken world but now we're shattered. We are not safe, we are not free, and we are not united.

Before we know it we'll all be dead
Because we're drowning in a sea of red.

This is what hate, bigotry, and childishness look like. I've never been so disappointed.

CTA: This was a loss for everyone, even those who feel they won by electing that man. Soon we will start to see how much of a mistake that was. When the time comes we will need to be united again so that we can overcome the big "L" that we took last night. Stay strong, be safe, and most importantly be heard. The only way we're going to overcome this is by giving them hell.
