Wow thank you guys so much you guys are the best and so sweet! I haven't been writing and updating this story much because I've been busy. I'm sorry! I do it on my free time between babysitting my younger siblings and physically fighting with my older ones plus my other book. But anyway! I'm just talking. So here's the chapter! Laurence's POV
I woke up and looked around. I saw Aphmau in the same spot she was in before we went to sleep. But all her wounds were healed. Strange. Then she woke up. Aphmau! I said while giving her a hug. Gah!.....place.......getting........dark... she said. Sorry. I told her. She shook her head. It's fine. Then she sniffed the air. Do you smell that? She asked. Smell wha- before I could finish the faint smell of caramel, chocolate, and candy floss. Yeah. It smells like candy. I told her. Not just any candy... candy dimension candy. She said smiling. Then she got up and started running. I followed her.
Aphmau's POV
I ran towards the smell. It kept getting stronger and stronger. I was deep in the woods now. I turned the corner and... There they were! Reece! Marsh! Modzilla! Timmy! Polly! Lila! I said to them while running over to you. I'm sorry. Do we know you? Marsh asked. Well if the 2 princes of the candy dimension don't remember there friend Aphmau then I'm crazy. I told them. Aphmau... no doesn't ring a bell... certainly can't be the daughter of Irene and Thor with a step dad who is Xavier. Reece told me. I glared at them. Well then if your not my friends... you know to much.....now I must destroy you. I told them summoning a sword. Then......clash........ Like wise. Marsh said with a sword in hand. Then Reece got his sword out. I soon had Reece and Marsh on the ground. OK OK we remember now. They told me. I gave them all a hug. Well what are you guys doing here!?! I asked. Can't we come to see you? They asked. Yes........if you guys were different people. Let me guess. One of there experiments messed up? I asked. They nodded their head. How did I know? I asked. Better question! Who's that cute guy over there that's totally checking you out with no shirt on!?! Lila asked. Who? I can't see the guy. The big doofus Laurence is in the way. I told them. Laurence came over here. We both know you love me. He told me. Keep on dreaming Casanova. I told him. Then he looked at them. Great more competition. He grumbled. A competition!?! What is it for?! I'm sure I'll win! Marsh said. It's to get Aphmau. Kiki told them. Marsh's face went from blue to purple. (Because blue +red=Purple and Marsh's face is already blue and he was blushing. And that was red.) I laughed. Aphmau we haven't seen you in a good mood for so long! It's good to see you happy. Lila said while hugging me. Ow! I helped while pushing Lila away from me. Aphmau what's wrong?! Laurence asked while coming over to me from where he was standing. Nothing. My back wound just hasn't healed all the way. I told them. Still getting into trouble I see. Marsh said. Psssssshhhhhhh! What! No! W-what would make you think that?! Pft! PSH! Me! Trouble! Pft! Never! I told him. Shouldn't have healed with he rest of your wounds? Laurence asked. Yeah I don't know why it didn't. I told him. He lifted up the bandages covering my wound. Aphmau.... he said. Yeah? Part of the sword blade is in the wound. He told me. Well can you get it out?! I asked. Yeah hold on. He told me. Then he got it out. Then he showed it to me. It couldn't have been bigger than my thumb and as wide as my pinkie. Thanks Laurence. I told him. I stood up and thanked Laurence. Come on I'll introduce you to my other friends. I told them. Then I tripped on something while I was walking to my friends. I landed on the sliver of the sword. Kiki took it out. Thanks Kiki but I could have taken it out. I told accepting her hand to get up. Don't even start! You could not! That was from a shadow Knight which is like a deathly allergy to you. Kiki told me. I couldn't help but laugh. Aph can you move your leg? Usually if you hit a shadow Knight object with your hand or something then that hand is out of commission for a couple of hours. Reece asked. I think..... I told him trying to walk. Then I fell. Never mind. I told them. Reece and Marsh offered there hands to help me up. I took them. Then they helped walk me over to my friends. Laurence glared at them the whole time. Talk about jealous. When we got to the camp everyone was awake. I introduced everyone. Kawaii~Chan's eyes looked like hearts when she saw Reece... how is that even possible!?! My leg was feeling better. I stood up. Well welcome to Pheonix Drop. Aaron told them. They said thanks. Come on! This calls for a sleep over! Sky said. Who's place? I asked. Well we always have it at Aphmau~Senpai's house so let's have it at Garroth~Kun's house. Kawaii~Chan said. We all agreed. Everybody went home to get ready. I took Polly, Lila, and Timmy over to my house to get ready. I took Timmy because I sometime babysit most of the kids in Pheonix Drop so I have extra sleeping bags and clothes. After we all got packed we met up at Garroth's place.
Laurence's POV
I started to head to Gareth's place. When I got to he door I saw Zenix! He told me that he was just visiting. Garroth invited us in. When I got in everyone was already there. After 2movies, a game of truth or dare, and a game of 2 truths and 1 lie everyone went to sleep. When I was sure everyone was sleeping I went to the balcony Garroth had upstairs. I don't like that Reece and Marsh got invited to the sleep over. I don't like how they act around Aph. I mean yeah a bunch of guys like her but... there a different case. They just suddenly appear right after Aph got better! That seems a little suspicious if you ask me! I don't know what's happening! Grrrr! Laurence? Are you OK? Someone askedasked. Oh! Zenix! You scared me! I thought you were asleep. I told him. I woke up and saw you leaving. What's wrong? He asked. I don't like Reece and Marsh... I don't know why. There nice and all but still. Most of all....I don like how good of friends they are around Aph. I told him. I think you actually do like them. He told me. What? I asked. I think that you are just scared of losing Aph to them. What do you mean? I asked. Well with the other boys there your friends. So you know that if they win over Aph then you don't have to worry about not seeing Aph any more or them taking her away from you. But if she falls for Reece or Marsh then if they move back to their old town then they might take Aph with them. Or they will take her away from you. He told me. I guess so... I told him. The question is.... why do you think that will happen? He asked. I don't know! I told him. He looked surprised that I yelled. I'm sorry for yelling. It's just that... your right... I don't want to lose her... I'm a shadow Knight. And being a shadow Knight for me is like.... imagine yourself being stuck in a pitch black room with only one exit. But you can't find it. You look forever and still don't find it. Then one day... there is a light. That shines brighter then a thousand suns. Leading the way to the exit of the room. And....you finally exit the room... after years and years of being trapped their... you see the beautiful sun, the grass and flowers. Everything is perfect. All while the light that lead you there is by your side. Then a fire starts. Everything burns to ash. And to too it all off that light that's been by your side... gets taken away from you. And you plummet back into darkness. All your hope...gone with a single swipe. I told him. He was speechless. She is the light in my darkness. My hope. My love. I just don't want to lose her. I told him. I was looking down I was in tears. Then Aph came out from behind a corner. She walked over to me and gave me a hug. I'll leave you two alone. Zenix said then left. Aph was crying. But she had a smile on. Come on! Let's head downstairs. She said wiping at her tears. I gave he a kiss. Thanks for not leaving me. I told her. I couldn't if I tried. She told me. Then we went downstairs and went to sleep. I slept knowing that Aph would never leave me by myself in the darkness.
