Nervous

Izaya's POV

So I got stabbed again... Great! First was on my 24th birthday on the street though this time nothing special was going on but it was still on the street. So since there where a lot of people around I had to go to the hospital and get asked questions by the police again. I'm not enjoying this it's so boring and I won't be discharged until my stitches heal. Which is stupid I guess they know I'll leave and reopen them again.

I lay in the hospital bed on my phone looking at the Dollars website and nothing exciting was going on so I turn my phone off. I'm starting to feel a little sleepy until I heard Shinra walking in.

"Hey Izaya how are you doing!" He says cheerfully.

"Great! Now leave." I really don't want to deal with him.

"Oh, that was mean! Why I can't just come down here to see how you were."

"Why you didn't come last time" I say staring at him.

He doesn't say anything for a little but then says "True, true. But I brought someone with me! And-"

"Let me guess, Celty is going to try to cheer me up."

He shakes his head then says "Nope well yes, but I have someone else to.Come on in Shizuo!" What! did I hear him right? I mean I like him and all but why would he come to me.

"Come on, Shizuo! Get in there!" Shinra is now trying to pull Shizuo in the room but is failing miserably.

Then I hear "No! Shinra I'm not going I can't do it!" I look at the door questionably wondering what Shizu-chan doesn't want to do.

"Come on Shizuo! We came here so you could do this!" He tries to pull Shizu-chan in again then gives up saying "Celty! Please help!"

I see Shizu-chan turn most likely to Celty probably reading a message on her phone and suddenly start to see a bunch of shadows. Then I see a squirming black shadowy blob coming to the side of my bed.

The shadow recedes away from the object that is Shizu-chan then pulls Shinra out of the room and closes the door. I don't think they had to go that far to get Shizu-chan to stay with me.

I look over at Shizu-chan and see that he's holding flowers. He notices I see them and quickly tries to hide them blushing. I look away as well and start bushing.

"So..." Shizu-chan speaks up "Um so how's your day been?"

"Uh good." Oh god I'm so nervous right now I don't know what's going to happen.

Shizuo's POV

"So..." I speak up "Um so how's your day been?" Really that's the best I could do.

"Uh good." I'm so nervous right now I don't know what to do anymore. I was going to try to ask Izaya out but my nerves got to me and I tried to back out.

I stand beside Izaya and look away blushing, my god I need to get ahold of myself. I glance at him but quickly look away.

"Izaya."

"Yes, Shizu-chan?" I look at him and see that he tilted his head to the side. He looks so cute! I start to blush again then say "So um w-would you um..."

I stop and take a deep breath then say "Would you like to go out with me?"

He looks at me shocked and I move the flowers I got for him from behind my back. I hold them out to him and say "Um for you."

I look away from him then glanced back, still looking shocked. I'm already blushing but I feel my cheeks getting warmer and warmer. I feel Izaya taking the flowers from me and smiling.

Then he says "Yes, I will go out with you. Shizu-chan."

"R-really!" I'm shocked I actually get to date my crush for about two years.

He nods and says "Really."

I'm now really happy and hug him. I hear an ow from Izaya so I back away and apologize. We smile at each other for awhile longer and start laughing.

I guess I was nervous for nothing.
