The last week of Christmas Break crept up quickly and Lily and the Potter/Weasley children were scrambling to repack their things.
"Has anyone seen my book?" Teddy asked
"Which one?" Harry replied
"The one I've been reading."
"And that is?" George asked
"The tale of Lupa. Duh." Lily and James said together
"Found it!" Rose yelled "Hugo was hiding it."
"Thanks Ro." Teddy smiled
There was a knock at the door and when Ginny opened it, McGonnagal and Aberforth were standing there.
"Papa!" Lily yelled, running towards Aberforth
"Hello Lillian." Aberforth chuckled, embracing his granddaughter
"Dad." Sirius said, standing behind his daughter
"Sirius!" Aberforth exclaimed, pulling his son-in-law into the hug
"What? No hug for me?" Tonks asked
"Nyphadora." McGonnagal smiled, stretching her arms out for the woman
"Don't call me that." Tonks whined
McGonnagal laughed and hugged Tonks.
"Did you need something?" Harry asked
"Yes, I came to ask if you would like me to take the children to the school." McGonnagal replied
"I have to get on the train anyway." Harry reminded her "But you are welcome to accompany us anytime. You know that Minerva. You're family."
McGonnagal smiled and said "I'm glad you feel that way and thank you for finally addressing me as Minerva."
"Of course and we must be going." Harry said "Don't want to be late."
"A Potter? Late? Never." Aberforth chuckled
"Do you have everything?" Ginny asked, fussing over James' hair
Harry laughed "Yes Gin and you can stop. It's not going to lay flat, trust me."
The children grabbed their trunks and filed out the door.
"I'll miss them." Teddy said
"They'll be here when you get back Ted." James laughed
"I know it's just it's my mum and dad." Teddy sighed "I'm not used to having them."
"I almost forgot!" Lily exclaimed suddenly
"Me too!" Teddy said
"Forgot what?" James asked
Teddy and Lily ran back to the burrow and tackled their dads.
"I'll miss you!" Lily whispered to her dad
"I'll miss you too." Sirius laughed
"See ya dad!" Teddy said "Love you mum!"
They ran back to the waiting car and hopped in.
"I'll never get used to that." Sirius chuckled
"Me either." Remus agreed
