"Are you okay ?" Harry asked, leaning down to help the young witch off the ground
"I'm fine. Thank you Mr. Potter." Lily replied quietly
The whistle on the train blew and Lily rushed towards the train.
James and Teddy walked towards the back of the train and sat in the last compartment.
"I can't believe we're finally going to Hogwarts!" James exclaimed
"Yes it's very exciting."Teddy said, his nose stuck in a book
A timid knock on the door caught their attention and the door slid open to reveal a small witch with curly red hair and dark eyes.
"Can I sit here?" The witch asked "Everywhere else is full."
"Sure." James said
The girl sat next to Teddy and smiled.
"I'm Teddy Lupin." Teddy said, breaking the awkward silence that had fallen over the first years
"Lily Black." The witch, Lily said
"I'm James Potter." James said
Lily let out a small laugh.
"What's funny?" Teddy asked
"Potter,Lupin and Black." Lily began "My father was Sirius Black, your dad was Remus Lupin and James' dad is Harry Potter. Out parents were best friends with his dad's dad."
"It's like we were genetically meant to be friends." James caught on
