Lily sat next to her best friends in the library and began studying for OWLs. Or at least that's what James thought.
"What on earth are you doing?" James asked "It's not even October yet and OWLs are in May!"
Lily shot him a look and sighed.
"I'm not studying." She said "I think there is more than one ex-death eater at the school."
"What?" Teddy asked
"Professor Zabini." Lily said "He was a death eater. He allegedly denounced Voldemort but I noticed that when everyone was fighting the dementors he was no where to be found and he wasn't at the sorting."
"Wouldn't hurt to do a little investigating." James shrugged
"No." Teddy said "I am not getting detention because you two are suspicious of a teacher."
"Pity." Lily said "Maybe Scorpius will go with us. I just don't want to go alone with James."
Teddy gave her a confused look.
"I know James is more than capable of protecting us but I feel safer when Teddy's with us too. Like it'd be extremely hard to hurt us." She shrugged
She pouted a little and could see Teddy about to give in.
"Fine!" Teddy said a little to loudly, earning an evil look from madam Pince
Lily smiled and went back to reading what ever it was she was reading.
James leaned over and asked "Are you sure you aren't a Slytherin?"
Lily smirked and continued to read. It was going to be long night but first, they had DADA.
