[Cayden's POV]
I pulled on one of my dress shirts, and my new leather jacket, along with some black skinnies and all black converse.
I brushed my hair a bit and smiled at the mirror before I heard a knock and turned to see Johnnie walk in, wearing a PTV tshirt, a black jacket, and black skinny jeans with some Toms.
"Hey, are you ready?" He asked.
I smiled. "Yeah I am," I said.
"Okay. We're leaving in a few minutes," he said.
"Got it," I smiled, then noticed he looked pretty down.
"Hey, Johnnie, you okay?" I asked.
He looked up. "Uhhh, y-yeah," he said.
I cocked an eyebrow at him. "I know when you're lying, Johnnie. Talk," I said.
I looked down at his feet.
"I-Its nothing," he mumbled in a shakey voice.
He was starting to worry me now.
"Well, its nothing if you're like this, not tell me what's wrong, please," I begged, gripping his shoulders.
He only sniffled and let out a tiny whimper.
"Johnnie?" I asked, then pulled him into a hug. "Please, tell me."
"I can't," he mumbled
"Cayden! Johnnie! Let's go!" I heard my dad call out.
"Coming!" I called out, and pulled back, wiping away Johnnie's tears. "Look, you're sleeping over. I'm not letting this go."
He gulped and nodded.
"Go wash your face, I'll wait outside," I said, giving him a pat on the back before leaving.
[Johnnie's POV]
I walk to the nearby bathroom, and turn on the sink, and sniffle as I washed my face and looked in the mirror.
Why do I always end up looking like an idiot in front of him?!
He probably won't ever feel the same because of how freezed up I get.
I wiped my eyes carefully so I won't smear the eyeliner I put on and then dried my face before walking outside, seeing Cayden and Bryan waited for me, meaning Cayden's dad was driving.
"You okay?" Cayden asked.
I nodded, forcing a small smile.
"Some pink tacos and cake will cheer him right up," Bryan encouraged, patting my back.
"Let's go," Cayden smiled, his arm on my shoulders as we headed to his dad's car.
