lizzie's pov:
today marks lia's birthday, and i spent the entire night meticulously preparing her gifts, ensuring they were beautifully wrapped.

as morning broke, i adorned the space with banners featuring snapshots of her cherished moments, both solo and alongside her favorite cast members.

at 10:00am, i finished preparing everything and found lia engrossed in a puzzle in her bedroom.

"happy birthday, sweetheart," i greeted her with a smile.

"thank you, mama," she replied, returning the smile.

"shall we open your presents first, or would you prefer to eat?" i inquired.

"presents first, mama!" she exclaimed cheerfully.

"of course, darling," i reassured her.

i lifted lia into my arms and carried her downstairs to the living room where her presents awaited. her face lit up with excitement as we entered.

setting her down gently, lia eagerly tore into her gifts, and i couldn't help but laugh at her adorable enthusiasm.

scarlett and rose would soon join us, as scarlett and i had planned to take lia to an indoor play center for her birthday celebration.

after lia had unwrapped all her presents from me— including an elephant and lion teddy, coloring book, puzzle, books, doll, and various accessories, along with building blocks, a sketchbook, lego, and clothing—i tidied up the wrapping paper and prepared breakfast.

lia requested beans on toast, which i promptly made for her. once she finished eating, i dressed her in her chosen outfit for the day: a red dress with tights and shorts underneath.

a knock at the door stirred us from our morning activities, prompting lia to answer it. to our surprise, hemsworth, evans, and rdj stood outside.

after welcoming them in, we all migrated to the living room.

"let's see my gifts first!" hemsworth chimed.

he presented lia with two wrapped packages, unveiling a unicorn night light and a jewelry-making kit. lia's eyes lit up with gratitude.

"thank you, i absolutely love them," lia beamed.

"no problem, little one," hemsworth grinned.

"now it's my turn!" evans exclaimed.

with that, evans handed over two wrapped gifts to lia, who eagerly began to unwrap them.

lia's pov:
as i unwrapped evans' presents, i discovered a customizable water bottle, which i found really neat. alongside that, there were some hair accessories.

after expressing my gratitude to evans, rbj presented his gifts, revealing a butterfly sequin diary. thanking him, i embraced all three of them.

just then, there was another knock on the door, and mom went to answer it, leaving me sitting on the couch, lost in thought.

when mom returned with auntie ashley, she handed me three wrapped gifts. upon opening them, i found a bracelet kit, a headband, and a princess light-up wand.

delighted with the gifts received so far, i reflected that this was my first birthday with presents, feeling overwhelmed with gratitude.

"thank you, auntie ashley," i smiled, embracing her warmly.

"it's my pleasure, sweetheart. happy birthday," she said, pulling me onto her lap, where i nestled against her.

more guests arrived, including auntie scarlett and rose, who greeted me with birthday wishes. auntie scarlett's gifts included a bracelet, threading beads, an art set, and a dolphin night light. after expressing my thanks and hugging her, i opened rose's gift, revealing an art and craft activity.

as the day progressed, i received various thoughtful gifts from family members, each one adding to my joy. reflecting on the abundance of kindness shown, i couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with emotion.

eventually, as the guests began to depart, leaving only a few family members behind, mom hinted at a surprise outing, urging me to put on my shoes.

excited and curious, i joined mom, auntie scarlett, auntie natalie, rose, and amalia in the car, unaware of our destination but filled with anticipation.

we soon arrived and parked the car. looking out, i was a bit puzzled by the solitary building in front of us. i had no idea where we were.

exiting the car, we made our way inside the building. stepping through the doors, i noticed a front desk with a friendly staff member waiting on the other side.

"hello, how can i assist you all today?" the woman asked warmly.

"yes, i've reserved a table for 6 under the name of olsen," mom replied.

"of course, please proceed," the woman replied with a smile.

as we walked further in, the purpose of our visit became clear. we had arrived at an indoor play center. it was my first time in one, but i didn't mind the surprise.

** time skip to a few hours later **

natalie and amalia had just left, so it was just rose, auntie scarlett, mom, and me at home. the four of us settled onto the couch.

"how about we watch a movie?" mom suggested.

we all agreed, so mom opened netflix and started browsing for a movie. soon, she found one we all liked, and i snuggled up to auntie scarlett, resting my head on her chest.

as the night wore on, exhaustion began to weigh on me, yet i resisted the urge to drift off to sleep. despite my heavy eyelids, i struggled to stay awake, determined not to succumb to slumber.

scarlett's pov:

"you can sleep, honey, it's okay," i whispered softly, my hand gently stroking her arm in hopes of lulling her to sleep. a few minutes later, she drifted off, snuggled up to me.

"the birthday girl is asleep," i whispered to lizzie.

"aww, bless her, rose is too," she whispered back.

i noticed rose cuddled up to lizzie's side, fast asleep, her hand still clasping onto lizzie's. it was a heartwarming sight.
