The story of how buck and eddie got married. Athena does a speech about buck as his mom

When buck came out to his bio parents they didn't take it well. It almost broke buck but he bad athena and bobby to help him back up
"They don't matter. Your happiness is what matters and if they can't see that then shame on them" Bobby says
"That's right. You were so brave telling them. I'm proud of you" athena says and it helped
After that Maddie cut all ties with them not wanting people like that around her daughter now or ever
Buck felt bad but she promised him it was them against the world. Buck dated Tommy for about a month before he realized he couldn't see a future with him
When he thought of his future it was eddie and chris smiling at him. He ended it with Tommy and was glad Tommy took it well.
Then he confessed to eddie. He was a mess barely able to get it out. After that they started dating.
They told Chris imedietly. The boy was so happy that buck was staying forever and he wouldn't have to deal with his dad dating anymore
Then they told abuela and pepe. They both were supportive and that helped eddie a lot.
Eddie didn't talk to his parents anymore after they tried to pick chris up from school and take him back to Texas before anyone could stop them.
Then they told everyone else not wanting to hide. Everyone was so happy for them. Bobby and athena gave buck a huge hug.
A few months pass blissfully. They kept the lovey dovey stuff outside of work. It wasn't too hard, they worked together for years without being too touchy.
They do family outing and got photos done of them. One night eddie purposed to buck.
They are in the livingroom cuddled up and eddie pulls it out of his pocket. "Your it for me. I wanna spend the rest of my life with you. I want to raise chris together. Marry me?" Eddie says and buck swore it was perfect
"Of course I don't wanna ever leave you or chris" Buck says and eddie puts the ring on
They are just basic rings because they both know their jobs are too crazy for fancy rings. Eddie had then ingraved with the first words thst started their whole story
Eddie's says you can have my back anyway
Buck's says or you could have mine
Buck laughs at it but finds it fits. "They are perfect" Buck says and they enjoy their night
They tell chris who isnt happy about wearing a suit but buck promises to go with him to get a new one and he cheers up.
"I'll make sure it fits nice and is comfortable ok?" Buck asks and eddie chuckles
Later they tell the others. Maddie and athena of course wanna help plan the wedding. "Who is going to walk down the isle?" Athena asks
The boys look at eachother and buck smiles "I walked my sister down the isle at her wedding so I pretty much know how it feels" Buck says and chuckles
"You should walk down the isle. Chris is going to he the ring boy and jee will be the flower girl. I think you should have your moment" he says and eddie nods
"Ok I wouldn't mind that" eddie says but buck knows it means he wants to.
"Ok then it's settled eddie is walking down the isle" Maddie says chuckling
They continue to plan for a few weeks. During the weeks buck makes good of his promise.
He takes chris to a tailor. He doesn't let eddie go. He and chris have a blast. They look at different styles and goof around. Eventually chris chooses one. It's a nice baby blue which will contrast nicely with bucks dark blue.
They dicided to do a theme of dark colors and pastel colors. It looked so good buck was suprised that they went together.
"Alright little man you look perfect" Buck says and chris is giggling when they leave the store
The day of the wedding buck is nervous. He stayed at athenas because he didn't wanna see eddie before the wedding.
He helped athena and may get ready. Bobby helped him do his tie. "The amount of times I've showed you this" Bobby teased
"Maybe I'll learn one day" Buck chuckled and they leave for the venue
They chose a wooden dinning area. It looks so pretty and the view from the windows is gorgeous.
They all get into their places before the music starts. Buck looks and watches jee skip up the isle throwing flowers.
It made everyone smile and giggle. Buck looked at chris who stood at Eddie's side of the front.
The boy nods still nodding the rings. Then eddie came walking down and eddie felt his breath disapear.
He had seen this man in everything and nothing but somehow he looked like a God in his suit.
When eddie meets him buck feels like he is floating. They get through the ceremony and then the speeches start
Buck and eddie sit together with chris as Maddie does her speech. Then Athena takes the microphone.
"I remember one day buck calls me. He goes mama my phones about to die and the card isn't working." Athena says smiling
"my next words were as always are you with anybody?." She Says making a few people chuckle
" because mom's always wanna know. Is my son alone or is there someone there with him." Athena says making buck smile.
:And it was always yea eddie" she says turning to look at eddie fondly
"So there was eddie always with him. And I always thought thank God for eddie." She Says and smiles
"Take care of my boy" she finishes and eddie nods
The night was perfect and abuela kisses them both "I'm so proud of you two. I told you to keep him mijo" she says to eddie making them both laugh
It was perfect. They had so much love. They had eachother and chris. They had family that loved them. They didn't need anything else.
