previously
mostly i couldnt stop thinking about how good it felt for the princes eyes to be on me.
the party today was in the courtyard and i put on the dress my maids made me. it was very sparkly and beautiful. it also fit perfectly. i put on a tiara i found in my closet just to make it seem like i was more... princess-like.
the party was pretty boring. i met like, everyone in the princes family, including his mom, who is actually the opposite of her husband. she is the nicest, sweetest human being i have met in my entire life. she asked me what my home life was like, she asked me about myself, how i was liking the palace and the special treatment, that kind of stuff. while i was taking to the prince, i made a joke that i regretted as soon as the words slipped out of my mouth.
"I'm the best thing at this party." the king looked right at me. his eyes were slits.
