"Veronica,what are you doing here?"
"To visit my aunt."
"Aunt?"
"Aunt Amelia."
"What?!"
"That's right,Kaylee.Or should I say,cousin?"
"Dad?"
"Is there something wrong?She's your cousin."
"You knew we were cousins?"
"Yes.I did."
"What's wrong?Are you afraid I'm gonna take Nathan away from you?"
"No.Just shocked."
"Mom,how are you doing?"I asked her smiling.Ignoring Veronica.
"I'm doing fine."
"Honey,we have to tell you something."Dad looked at me and I just nodded.
"Honey,you have leukemia."she nodded.
"Mom,we'll do everything to get you healed."My tears were already clouding my vision up.
"Don't cry sweetie,I'll be fine.Go to Nathan."
"I just left him so I can see you."
"I'm fine,you can go."

"Kaylee,just go."I slowly nodded and went back to Nathan's room.He was just staring at the ceiling.

"Babe!You can't call my mom your mom!"
"What's wrong with that?We're gonna get married in the future anyway.I'm just trying to get used to it."
"No.You'll call her Mrs.Adams until we get married."
