Chapter:31 {Dance}

Rowan's POV

"Okay honey, text me after the dance." Said my mother as I opened the car door.

"Okay thanks mom." I said grabbing my bag.

"Your welcome tell the Carpenter family I said Hi!" Said my mom.

"Okay bye." I said walking off.

Knock... Knock...

"Hey Rowan!" Said Sarah.

"Wow SARAH!" I said in amazement.

Sarah had her brown hair in curls and was wearing a red dress with black heels.

"Do you like it?" Asked Sarah.

"Uhh yea!" I said.

"Thanks!" Said Sarah.

"ROWAN!! I GOT YOUR DATE!" Said Sabrina.

"Cool who is it!?!" I asked walking into Sabrina's room.

"Your going to flip but it's Bradley's brother." Said Sabrina putting on her converse's.

"The one that hit Peyton?!" I asked.

"Yea Jake." Said Sabrina.

"Sabrina I can't do that to Peyton!" I said sadly.

"Rowan come on!" Said Sabrina.

"Sabrina!" I said.

"Rowan!" Said Sabrina.

"God fine! Fine!" I said.

"Good! Now let's get you dressed!" Said Sabrina.

AT THE DANCE....

Peyton's POV

There was only one person desperate enough to go to the dance with me and that was Penny. I was not going with Penny! But I mean I really had no other choice! I had no body else to ask at last minute everyone was already taken!

"Let's do this babe!" Said Penny kissing my lips.

Ew! God this is so gross! I thought.

"Peyton!" Said Bradley walking towards me.

"Hey Bradley it's too late!" Said Penny wrapping her arms around me.

"Good!" Said Bradley laughing.

"Anyway" he continued... "Look I just want you to know that no matter who Rowan comes in with..."

"I don't care! I'm in love with Penny!" I said kissing her lips.

"Okay..." Said Bradley walking off.

God this was so disgusting! Even when I kissed Sabrina there was more then this.

"Oh Peyton..." Said Rowan walking in.

She looked amazing! I mean AMAZING! She had her hair up in a ponytail and was wearing brown boots, a Blue dress that was short in the front but long in the back, and finally had a blue hair clip that sparkled in the party lights.

"Hey Rowan!" Said Penny.

"Hello Penny." She said smiling.

"Well Rowan where's your date?" Asked Peyton.

Rowan's POV

"Where's my date?" I said to Peyton.

"Yep! Do you NOT have one?" He asked.

"Nope I do!" I said.

"Rowan babe!" Said Jake.

He ran up to me and grabbed my hands pulling me close till our lips met.

"Who's this?" Asked Peyton.

"This is Jake." I said smiling.

Peyton's eyes widen as Jake finally turned around.

"Hey it's Basketball kid!" Said Peyton.

"Yep." I said kissing his cheek.

"Rowan?" Asked Peyton.

"Yes?" I said.

"How could..." Said Peyton.

"Babe lets just dance already!" Said Penny.

"No! No!" Said Peyton.

"Peyton?" Asked Penny.

"Penny cut the act!" Said Peyton.

"Peyton!" Said Penny angrily.

"No it's fine! Rowan actually has a boyfriend!" Said Peyton.

"What!?" Asked Penny.

"I only dated you to get Rowan jealous when she showed up with no date! But she actually has a date I mean boyfriend!" Said Peyton.

"Peyton.." I said.

"No it's fine Rowan have fun!" He said storming off.

Peyton's POV

As I walked off I couldn't tell why I was so mad! I mean it was Rowan! Why would I be so mad! I don't like her! God! But the way she looked so pretty! And her eyes...

"Peyton?" Asked a girls voice from behind me.

I turned...

"Rowan?" I said.

Then Rowan came up to me and kissed me. I didn't move instead I wrapped my arms around her.

"I love you!" She said.

"Me too. But what about Jake?" I asked confused.

"Broke up... I mean we've only been dating for 10 minutes." Said Rowan smiling as she rested her head on my chest.

"So you did the same thing as me?" I asked laughing.

"Yep!" She said.

"Oh Rowan." I said.

"Want to dance?" She asked.

"Yep!" I said.

And we both walked into the school dance and well danced.
