"Five minutes isn't going to hurt anyone Sam."

I never saw anything of their life before hunting, only when they were roped into the life. Seeing the decorative china, the family photo's, plush throw ushion's on the sofa and tv guides stacked neatly... I feel quite uncomfortable.

I am also acutely aware of how un-normal it is to feel uncomfortable in an overly ordinary home.

"You want the crusts cut off?" Mary hovers over Dean at the table, a knowing smile on her motherly face that tells me she already knows her answer.

"Yeah...I..." watching her already get to work on cutting the crusts, Dean trails off "...I'd love that."

"Mom." When she pays no head to Sam, i reach out and grasp his forearm. Trying to not feel awful over the way his lit up gaze dims. I don't think Sam's ever said that before since she died when he was only a baby. Clearing his throat, Sam ushers "Dean we should go."

"Sam-"

"We have to find Joshua-"

Kicking him with my boot, I send Sam a sharp look "Five minutes isn't going to hurt anyone Sam."
