Gia rode in the SUV with her head between her legs. She couldn't get her stomach to cooperate with her. She felt awful and that time she couldn't hide it. It was all getting to be too much. She was stressed beyond her limits and her body was letting her know.

"Boss, are you alright? You need to go to the hospital?" Marco asked worried about Gia.

"Nope, I'm just dandy. Take me to the Plaza and then go to my father's house and get my things. I don't want to be there...ever," Gia ordered, then groaned feeling like she was going to throw up again.

Gia needed to make her own life. She needed her own home, and she was not leaving the Plaza until she had it.

In the lobby, Gia got strange looks when she walked inside with her men following her. Gino walked up to the front desk and booked the penthouse for an unlimited amount of time.

"Yes sir, right way sir." The front desk clerk was nervous. She knew who Giada Benedetti was and she was not about to make a mistake. She handed two key cards to Gino and wished them a good night.

Gino and Marco went ahead, and Gia hung back with Trent while they checked everything out. Ten minutes later Gia was face down on the white comforter in her room with a worried Gino, Marco, and Trent by her bedside.

"Boss, we need to call the doc. You look a little off and I don't like it," Gino said.

After spending all day every single day with her, the three men had gotten to know Gia pretty well. She had been more tired lately and irritable and now she was throwing up. Her body was under too much stress, and it was shouting out that it needed attention.

"I'm fine. Stress has me by the tits is all," she said, making them laugh. She sat up and leaned back against the pillows piled up against the headboard. "I just need to sleep and process all the shit in my life. I'm fine. Now go get my things."

"Already called Luka, he sent five crew to get your things with the strict order to keep their mouths shut. They should be here soon. What about your apartment?"

"Get a realtor to sell it and find me a house. Something outside the city and with plenty of rooms and an office and a fenced pool with a big back yard for dogs."

Gino made a mental note and bid Gia good night as did Marco and Trent before they walked out closing her door.

The minute her door closed she let the tears fall. She buried her face in her pillows and cried, cried, sobbed, and sobbed. Her body shook from the intensity of her tears. She came undone. Her heart bled out from the pain she had. She curled up in a ball and stayed in that position for hours.

A faint thudding woke Gia from her restless slumber. She got off the bed, went to her door, and found Gino standing there with two large suitcases on either side of him.

"Your furniture will be put in storage until we find a house," Gino informed her. Gia stepped aside to let Gino in with her luggage.

He set both suitcases on the suitcase racks and stepped to the door but before he left, he turned to look at Gia who had gone back to bed.

"Gio was fuming mad when the crew went to get your things. He's been calling non-stop since early this morning. You're going to have to face him sooner or later, Boss. I don't like the asshole but that's just my opinion."

Gia smiled. "He didn't use to be an asshole. I don't know what happened to him. It doesn't matter. Our Family is the only thing that matters."

Gia spent the rest of the morning pulling herself together. She showered, dressed in lilac-colored slacks with a white V-necked blouse and accessorized it with a floral silk scarf and her techy jewelry. She wore her lilac pumps and put her hair up in a French twist and wore minimal make-up. She sprayed her perfume on and left the room putting her cell phone in her pocket. Gia hated purses and had to make sure everything she wore had pockets.
