SERENA POV

I am just now finding out that silas has gotten stabbed while she was out to eat.

"Why did you tell me sooner?" I hastily ask Carlos.

He rolls his eyes. "Because of ur reaction."

"Well it's not every fucking day that your twin gets stabbed." I say as I walk towards Silas's room with Carlos behind me.

"Such language for a sweet girl." Carlos mumbles.

I burst through Silas's door to see Silas sharpening knives as she sits on her bed.

Silas looks up, her cold gaze meeting with my soft one.

"Are you okay?" I ask, walking over to the bed and sitting on it.

Silas nods as she continues to go back to what she was doing before.

"Jesus you smell." Carlos says as his expression falls to a grimace.

Silas once again stops sharpening her knife, she brings the hand that is holding the knife up and  points the very sharp object towards Carlos.

"Get out." She tells him.

"I—"

"Get. Out." She repeats.

Carlos rolls his eyes but complies.

After he leaves I turn to silas. "You don't stink." I tell her reassuringly.

She glances up at me before looking down at her knives.

"Hey you okay?" I ask softly. I put a hand on her shoulder and silas closes her eyes.

"Serena I just want to be alone." She tells me.

I take my hand off her shoulder. "Oh okay." I say quietly.

We both stay quiet as the sound of silas sharpening her knife fills the silence of the room.

"You know I'm here for you, right?" I tell her.

She heaves a sigh, staying silent.

"Do you want me to leave?" I ask.

She glances up at me before glancing at the door and that's when I know that she's silently telling me to leave.

I sigh, getting up from the bed and start walking towards the door.

As I'm about to leave I glance at silas over my shoulders. "If you need anything I'm here silas"

I walk out of the room, letting my shoulders and smile drop.

She's definitely not okay.

I bite the inside of my cheek as I walk into my room.

Why doesn't she ever tell me anything.
