Wes Not There

When I was 16 and daily debating slitting my wrists in the bathroom in my room I only had prepaid minutes because my parents couldn't afford phones. We get one and a month goes by my parents don't pay the bill because they can't and they would switch phones and providers four times. Any way I had to pay for minutes but my brother called and I gave him fifteen of the thirty to sixty I could afford a month from writing articles to hear him say that he wanted me to come live with him in Oklahoma, that he had plenty of money. I told him no because for one he was drunk, two I didn't want to leave tennis and my school I worked so hard to reach the top.

What bothers me the most is that Wesley bragged about how much money he was making, but never thought it upon himself to send anything to the rest of his family to keep them properly fed and not homeless as would be the case as the years unfolded.
