I cried out as the heel of his boot jammed against my bruised hip. I let out a weak sob, pain coursing through my body. Blood leaked from my nose, soaking into my shirt, the belt hitting my side, I drew in a breath before squealing as he dug his foot against my shoulder, jamming my body into the concrete.

I fell silent, only grunting at an extra painful impact, tears rolled down my cheeks, my head dizzy. Spots filled my vision, I was watching only a stranger looking through some poor girls eyes. Watching the blood land on my shirt. I hugged my knees.

"I'll do better... I'll do better... I will be better" I mumbled under my breath, cringing as he kicked my back, my breathing heavy and frantic, time seemed to begin to skip, I couldn't tell anymore what he was doing.

"Hunter. Stop." Came a voice, I didn't move, just hugged my knees. Panting heavily as Hunter stood tall.

"She messed up my fucking food" snapped Hunter.

"I doubt it. That dosen't sound like something she would do" commented Daryl. I stayed curled up in the corner, breathing heavily.

"Taylor. Look at me" commanded Daryl, I didn't react, tears blurred my vision, I couldn't find the strength to look at him, I don't want him to see me like this. I hate appearing weak... Even if I am weak.

He walked closer, my breathing picking up, getting faster the closer he got, he squatted and reached forward, grabbing my chin, I didn't look at him as he lifted my head, staring off at a wall.

"You'll have a black eye, he really went at ya. Did you mess with his food?" Asked Daryl, his voice calm as always.

"No... It was the creep... He was... Mad... I didn't... Acknowledge him..." I whimpered, struggling to make a sentence, my voice broken and croaky. I had to take a deep breath between saying things, knowing I was going to cry, whether I wanted to or not.

He let my chin go and stood, I buried my head against my knees again, breathing heavily still.

"You damaged the errand girl before even hearing the full story" stated Daryl, a part of me was glad he believed me, I don't think my body could cope with anymore beatings.

"I will be back, do not touch her. I'll only be a moment." Stated Daryl, the green door closed, Hunter huffed quietly, he moved closer to me and I buried deeper into myself, making a strange whine sound. He crouched and I could feel his eyes burning into me.

"And we just started having fun to." Snickered Hunter, I winced and could feel the blood leak down my face. "Next time you do something like that, I will not hesitate" he added, the door opened and Hunter's gaze left me.

"This guy huh?" Spoke Daryl, I glanced up through my hair, looking to the creep Daryl had by the hair. I nodded stiffly before burying my head back against my knees. I could hear them moving around.

"It wouldn't be an issue if you wanted someone to do errands who won't be harassed" grumbled Hunter, the creep made a muffled shout. My breathing shaky, footsteps approached me, I flinched as a hand touched me. An arm went under my knees and a second arm on my back, I whimpered at the pain, but didn't say a word. I was lifted easily, feeling small and vulnerable. I was taken out and placed on the couch, I curled up tighter. I was left alone for a moment, hearing the squealing of Hunter's cars wheels. He's left... I'm glad.

I flinched as a hand touched my face, I hadn't even noticed someone approach me. My chin lifted, forcing my head to raise, I could see my reflection on the tv the blood coating my chin and lips, the flow had stopped by now, my eye slightly swollen. He pressed something cold to the side of my head and over my eye, grabbing my hand and physically forcing me to hold it against my face.
