'What do we say? We can't just barge in without an explanation.' I ask as we're driving to her address thay my father found

'I have no idea to be honest with you. I haven't thought this through completely.' He sighs. 'Maybe we just go and ask about her. Tell them we're friends from school or something. Which is not a complete lie. We did go to the same school.'

'That could work. All we really need to do is get in. They might let us, you never know.' I smile

'Might as well give it a try. If it doesn't work, no harm done, right?' He smiles nervously

'Come here.' I smile and lean over to him, pulling him in just enough to kiss him.
'You will be just fine.'

He exhaled in what sounded like relief, then kissed my forehead. 'Thank you. I don't even know why I'm nervous.' He chuckles

'It's okay. It's a weird situation. It's nromal to be nervous. But you've got this.' I reassure him

'You're right. We will be just fine.' He seemed a bit more okay.
'I think this is it.'

We stopped in front of a house that had a small garden in front. It seemed small but really cute. Not bad at all. And it must be the right address as they have a wheelchair ramp by the front door. They do need to get him in and out somehow.

He held my hand a bit too tightly on the way to the front door. He took a deep breath and knocked a few times.

'One moment!' We heard a man yell from the inside

Jimin and I just looked at each other but waited patiently. He might not be able to get to the door straight away or something, so no need to knock again.

The door finally opened after about half a minute, and a man looked at us in confusion.

He seemed like he was in his late 40s, but he looked tired. His hair was messy with a lot of grey in it. Even the clothes he's wearing, although for the house, seemed a bit worn out.
'I'm sorry about the waiting. I was busy trying to help my son. He is getting a bit heavier these days.' He tries to joke

'That is quite alright. No problem at all.' Jimin smiles at him

'What can I do for you?' He asks

'We were wondering if JoaWi is home. We hadn't seen her in a long time, and we were passing by, so we thought we'd stop and say hi.' Jimin says to him

'Oh, are you friends of JoaWi's?' Her dad smiles brightly

'Yes. We know each other back from school days.' Jimin smiles

'And your name would be...' he trails off

'Oh, apologies. I'm Jimin. Jimin Park. And this is NaRi.'

'Jimin?' He was looking at him, squinting a little, then his face kind of lit up. 'Ohhh, I know that name. I believe she had a boyfriend back then called Jimin. Was that you?' He laughs

'Yes, Sir. That would be me.' Jimin smiles politely

'DAAAD!' Her brother yelled out, scaring all three of us

'I'm sorry, give me just one moment, please.' He quickly apologizes

'Do you need any help?' Jimin asks

'I couldn't ask that of you.'

'No, no, it's absolutely fine. Please.' Jimin bows a little

'DAD!' The kid calls again, this time sounding like he's crying

The father ran inside and Jimin didn't wait a moment before running in after him, and I followed after.

The hallway we went through seemed clustered with random bags and boxes. I doubt they could get the wheelchair through here.
