He was silent on the way home, seemingly deep in thought over something. Not something. Someone.

'Are you okay?' I ask, glancing over at him as he's just staring out the window

'Hm?' He hums at me, looking at me

'What's going on? Talk to me.' I tell him as I turn my eyes to the road

'I'm just trying to figure out what it could be. After this today, I'm pretty sure whatever the reason is, she is embarrassed about it. Or scared.' He mumbles

'You noticed that too, huh?' I ask

'So I'm not crazy. You saw it as well.'

'Mhm. I don't know her as well as you do, but she seemed nervous. The only reason I can think of is that she's ashamed.' I say

'Now I'm even more curious about it. What if she was in trouble or something?' He asks, almost whining at himself

'Jimin, whatever the reason is, you have no reason to feel guilty. You did nothing wrong.' I reassure him

'I just fell bad. What if I was able to help but she couldn't tell me?'

'Again. She must have a reason. I think she'll come around. She was listening to you today. She might have told you if I wasn't there.'

He just sighed deeply, then pulled out his phone. He typed for a while before putting it down and speaking up.
'I sent her the address and told her to come over to our place when she's ready to talk. I hope that's okay.'

'Of course, it's okay. It's actually a good idea. She might feel more comfortable talking about it within 4 walls than she would in a restaurant.' I smile at him

'You're way too perfect.' I felt his hand on the back of my head as he was gently stroking my hair

'I haven't done anything.' I chuckle

'You have done a lot. And you're way more than understanding about the situation. I'm not sure I'd be alright with you meeting up with your ex out and inviting him over to your place.' He sounded almost ashamed of himself

'You two dated years ago. I know you don't love her, and I'm the one who gave you the idea in the first place. Plus, this little thing is more than enough to show me I have nothing to worry about.' I glance at him, wiggling my ring finger.

'I'm still standing by my words.' He says

'Okay.' I chuckle. I don't know what to tell him. He's cute.

-----

'Without me? That's just rude.' Jimin jokingly complains to me as he comes to the outside deck

'You're more than welcome to join me.' I grin at him, flopping my feet lightly in the pool

'I don't know. What if I get cold?' He teases, taking his shirt off and throwing it on the sofa

'I'd never let you freeze. I promise to keep you warm.' I smile at him

It's almost 10 in the evening, and the air is still hot. I love summer. Plus, the pool is heated, so he can't freeze even if he wanted to. He just likes to tease.

I was watching him step into water, step by step. His shorts stuck to his muscly thighs as soon as the water came in touch with his legs. His perfectly built body was getting submerged inch by inch until he dove underwater and swam over to me.
He emerged right in front of me, standing up on his feet as it wasn't that deep. It was about to his waist.
He shook his head, then pushed back his hair. He knows I love it when he does that.
