79. Void

I go to my room and billy follows. I pull out a box from under my bed "what's your plan" he asks "it's a lot to explain" i say back. I take a walkie talkie out of the box then slide the box back under the bed. We go back downstairs. Dad had moved the table to the side of the living room. We go into the living room. I sit in front of the tv and turn it on. Billy sits beside me. Dad walks in and puts a blind fold over my eyes "remember the code word" dad says i nod. Dad sits beside me and billy holds my hand. After a few seconds i open my eyes and look around in the void. I see ash's car "just know I'm trusting you guys with my life" i say "don't worry" dad says. I keep looking and i hear a familiar voice behind me. I turn around and see vecna. "Welcome back" he says "who's next" i say back "why do you want to know" he says "if I'm supposed to help you, i would like to know the next steps" i say back "you'll see tomorrow" he says "what happens after" i say back "4 people have to die then are world can take over" he says "you mean the upside down" i say back "yes" he says. The void changes to the town. I look around, we were on a hill. I see el and the others. The town had cracks that were red and the sky was filled with smoke. "When this happens we will role the town, everyone will pay for what they did" he says. I walk up beside el and look at the town. I tried to speak but i couldn't. "No one will hurt you ever again six, you will be feared, you will have control over everything" he says "what about you" i say back "I'll be by your side the whole time" he says. "Why are you helping me" i say back "six i watched you get stronger, no one cared what you went thru, all everyone did was hurt you, this is your revenge" he says. I watch as Everything fades away. I turn around to face him. He puts his hand out and i put mine on top of his "number one role" he says "revenge" i say back. He disappears and i try to process what i saw. "Fall" i say before waking up. I look around and see that I'm laying on the floor. I see dad with a concerned look on his face. Billy was still holding my hand. They help me up "you definitely over worked your powers" dad says "worth it" i say back. I go to the bathroom and look in the mirror. My nose was bleeding and i had blood coming from my eyes. I clean off my face and billy walks in "what do we do if this happens and we can't get out" he asks "as long as we keep an eye on what happens we should be able to get out before this happens" i say back. "Doesn't it hurt" he asks "if your talking about my eyes, then no" i say back "i though only your nose would bleed" he says "if i over work my powers then that happens" i say back. Jay stands in the doorway "the hell was that" Jay says "something you won't under stand and don't need to know" i say back "I'm your brother, I'll under stand" Jay says. I slam my hand onto the counter "your not my brother and will never be!" I yell back "yes i am!" Jay yells "this town is in my hands, don't fuck with me!" I yell back "oh yeah like some creature will end the town" Jay says. I use my powers to slam the door shut. "God i hope he's one of the people that die" i say "i agree with you on that" billy says. We wait a few minutes then go to my room. Billy sits on my bed and i look for something. I find my picture book. I grab it and sit beside billy. I find the picture of me when my hair was short. "You looked cute with short hair" billy says "I've actually though about cutting my hair short again" i say back "go for it" billy says "i would not be able to bring myself to do it" i say back. I turn to a picture from when i got out of the lab. Then i turn to the last page. It had pictures of me on the beach as a kid. The one had me with a boy that looked the same age as me "i don't remember this" i say "i have a picture that has a girl identical to that" billy says "wait, did we know each other before" i say "maybe" billy says. I put the book back and we go downstairs. I walk up to dad "do you remember the picture of me and a boy on the beach" i ask "yeah why" dad says "do you remember the name of the boy" i ask "yeah, i think it was William" dad says. I turn to look at billy "how did we not remember each other" i say "no idea" billy says "why do you think i talk to Neil" dad says "why did you never tell me this" i say back "i don't know" dad says. Fiona and Jay walk into the kitchen. "Well this got awkward quick" i think. "I should head home, see you later" billy says before kissing me and leaving. "Fucker" i think. "How's Stacy" dad asks "good" i say back "who's Stacy, let me guess your girlfriend" Jay says "it's my guitar" i say back "who names there guitar" Jay says "me" i say back "i did" dad says. Fiona slaps jays arm. Dad makes me and Jay stand in front of each other. He puts a hand on my shoulder and the other on jays. "I know you guys don't like each other, but you need to get over it, we're a family now" dad says "don't count on it" i say back "she won't listen to anything i have to say" Jay says "fuck you" i say back "go fuck your boyfriend slut" Jay says "don't worry if you ever get a girlfriend I'll make sure to fuck her in your bed bitch" i say back "so your gay now" Jay says "shut the fuck up, i will spray spray paint in your eyes" i say back "i will hit you with the can" Jay says "guys, glam your not putting paint in anyones eyes, and Jay no hitting anyone with a can" dad says "then I'll use my powers" i say back "what are you some kind of failed test" Jay says "guys!" Dad yells. We look at dad "get over yourselves!" Dad says "fuck no!" I say back "only with an apology" Jay says. Dad looks at me "don't even" i say "glam apologize to Jay" dad says. I look at Jay "fine, I'm sorry for how i acted, but your still a little bitch" i say "good enough" Jay says "thank you" dad says. Jay tries to hug me. I step back and flip him off before walking away. I go to my room and look thru my school stuff. I finish my homework and put stuff back. I change and grab my pack of cigarettes off my dresser. I go downstairs and see everyone still in the kitchen. I go on the porch and light a cigarette. The sun was almost down. I look at my number. I see the black veins covering my arm then they disappear. I jump and drop my cigarette. I snap out of it and pick up my cigarette. I finish it then go back inside. Dad Fiona and Jay were dancing around in the kitchen to music. I watch them "glad that there a happy family" i think. I realized that they were listening to ac/dc. "Fuck you guys" i think. I go to my room and sit by my window. "Guess jay is the son that dad never got, at least dad will maybe have a kid still here after i leave" i think. I see clothes in the corner of the room. I get up and grab them. It was the clothes i was wearing last time i went to the lab. I put them on "fuck it I'm wearing this now" i think looking in the mirror. I go back downstairs. I didn't see anyone. I look in the driveway and didn't see dads truck. I look around making sure jay wasn't home. I sit on the counter and august walks in. "Hey" she says "i got more answers" i say back "i know that's why I'm here" she says "don't tell me we share brains" i say back "no, i used my powers to see where you were and i saw what vecnas plan is" she says "oh" i say back. "I'm guessing that your dad is jays dad now" she says "yep, so he can fuck off" i say back. "just so you know, the workers name is David" she says "ok" i say back. She sits beside me "ready for the end of Hawkins" she asks "can't wait" i say back sarcastically "who are you getting out" she asks "me billy hopefully you, and Sadie if she's still in town" i say back "what about your family" she asks "i only care about frank Jamie and Nate, my dad can die here for all i care" i say back. The door opens and dad Fiona and jay walk in. I try not to make eye contact with any of them. "Hey glam didn't think you were still here" dad says "don't worry i don't plan on staying, plus i wouldn't want to get in the way of your happy family" i say back. We get off the counter and go to my room. "What's your plan for tonight" she asks "drive to the woods and stay there for a few hours then come home in the morning" i say back. I change and grab my bag "stay safe" she says "will do" i say back. We go back downstairs and dad stops me. "See you later" august says "you to" i say back. August leaves. "Who's that" jay asks "no one" i say back "your going to have to tell Jay stuff" dad says "no i don't" i say back "you can't hide stuff  from me forever" jay says "yes i can and i will" i say back. "where are you even going" dad asks "somewhere" i say back "just stay and we can talk this out" dad says "what is there to talk about" i say back. Dad takes me to the kitchen. Fiona and jay sit at the table and me and dad lean against the counter. "Now glam why can't jay know about anything" dad says "because he's not my brother and i don't give a fuck" i say back "tell us the truth" dad says "fine you want the truth, don't think i didn't see all of you guys acting like a happy family, you don't even try to get me involved in things, i was better with papa" i say back "no you weren't, and when do you call him papa" dad says "because he's feels like more of a dad then you, and I won't let you know how I feel about this" i say back "brenner put your life on the line!" dad says "oh like you haven't!" I yell back "glam!" Dad yells "Andrew!" I yell back. Dad looks at me "don't you call me that" dad says "well you don't feel like a dad so why not call you by your name" I say back. "Just go do your drugs and you'll be fine" Jay says "don't even go there" i say back "Jay!" Fiona yells. Jay grabs my wrists "get your fucking hands off me" i say "your not a kid anymore, start acting your age" Jay says. "Get your sons hands off me" i say looking at Fiona. Jay titans his grip on my wrists. I use my powers to pick up a knife on the counter. "Glam don't!" Dad yells. Jay let's go and I throw the knife into the wall. "I'm going to moms" i say before leaving the room. Jay follows me "like she'll let you do drugs" Jay says "fuck you" i say back "you know since your dad won't let you" Jay says "at least i have a dad!" I yell back "don't go there" Jay says i laugh "or what, are you going to hurt me again, let's see what you got big boy" i say back. Jay puts his hand in a fist. Dad and Fiona run in and get in between us. "Oh look who has people come and defend him" i say mocking Jay. I go outside and Jay follows me. I stop in the yard "just go be a slut!" Jay yells "I will be a slut!" I yell back. I walk over to Billy's window. I knock and he opens it. I crawl thru "hey" i say "get in a fight with Jay" billy asks "yep" i say back. I sit on Billy's bed and watch billy throw darts at his dart bored. "what's that guys problem" he says "he thinks because my dad is his now, that means he can tell me what to do" i say back "i fucking hate that guy" he says "he did tell me to be a slut, which is hard when your already one" i say back. Billy walks over to me and lifts my head up to make me look at him. He kisses me "well you are a slut, i know that from experience" he says before walking back to his dart bored. "Only for you" i say back "good" he says.
