67. Spy

I sit against the wall and talk to myself to hopefully not lost my mind. The door cracks open. Something slides to me. I pick it up. It was my lighter with a note. The door closes. I use my lighter as light. I read the note "it's you, Brenner's going to come get you in a few minutes, just go along with everything he says, because I'm going to go thur his stuff". "Good to know i have a spy" i think. "I hope dad and billy are ok, hopefully dad told billy where I'm at" i think. I hide the note in my sock. After a few minutes the door opens again. Brenner walks in "did you learn your lesson" He says "yes" i say back "what was that" he says "yes papa" i say back hating calling him papa "good" he says. We walk pass his office. I tap on the door as we pass. I hear a tap back I smile. We go to my room. I only see one bed "what happened to me sharing a room with five" i ask "she's behind on testing, since your ahead of her i gave you your own room" he says. I sit on the bed "now I'm going to check on my other lab a few hours away, i expect you to be nice to the workers and do as told" he says "k and" i say back "don't try anything" he says "I'm not an idiot you know" i say back. Brenner leaves "dumb fuck" i think. An hour passes and my door opens. August walks in "what you find" i say "shit ton of stuff" she says "and just so you know I'm calling you august" i say back "k" she says "now fill me in on stuff" i say "ok the reason brenner put different DNA in you is because the woman was an ex girlfriend of his from high school, she had a husband that died from an overdose, a week after her husband died she was found dead at her house, the cause of death was suicide, so brenner tried to preserve her DNA in you" she says "holy shit he is fucked up" i say back "tell me about it, and the reason he made me was incase you died from the test, so then he would still have a six" she says "fuck sake, we definitely need out of here" i say back "we know all the codes" she says "it's the security, if we're lucky enough to get passed them then brenner will still find us" i say back "what if you pretend to get hurt during one of the test, then you'll go to the nurse and you can do something" she says "I'll just down a bottle of meds" i say back "that might work" she says "hopefully" i say back "ok the next big test day is in three days" she says "what day is it" i say back "the 20th" she says "shit Billy's school starts soon" i say back "he's the guy that has dirty blonde hair and smokes right" she says "yes, wait how the fuck do you know what he looks like" i say back "dumb fuck we have the same memories" she says "forgot" i say back. Three days pass. I was following a worker with august behind me. "Remember the plan" she whispers i nod. We make it to the room. We line up. Brenner put us beside each other this time. Chloe was at the other end of the line. "Ok six you will stand in this circle and let's go with seven in the other circle" Brenner says. We stand where we're told. workers puts blind folds on us. "First to get the other out of the circle wins" Brenner says. "Now If i can over work myself i should pass out" i think. I use my powers to try to get seven out of his circle. After a few minutes i hear clapping. I take off the blind fold and see seven getting off the floor. I smile "good six" Brenner says. I go to get back in line but i get thrown at the wall. I hit my head and pass out. I wake up in the nurses office. A nurse walks up to me "your head might hurt for a few days" she says "fun" i say back "do you remember your name" she asks "glam northwest" i say back "good your number" she says "six" i say back "ok good" she says. She hands me a cup of water and a pill. I take it. Brenner walks in "how are you feeling" he asks siting down beside me "like i got thrown against a wall" i say back "just take it easy for a few days" he says "planned on it" i say back "thankfully it didn't leave a big mark" he says "lovely more scars" i say back "well i need to head back to the other lab, take it easy" he says before leaving. A worker follows me to my room. I lay on the bed. I fall asleep for a few minutes. The door opens. I open my eyes and see a worker "you have more testing" he says "ok" i say back getting up. We walk down the hall "what's the test now" i ask "your going to put a suit on and your going in the tank" he says "why" i say back "I'm not aloud to say" he says. We make it there. I'm handed a suit. I put it on then go up the stairs. They put the helmet on me then slowly put me in the tank. They close the top. The worker stands on the other side of the glass. I give him a thumbs up. They over the glass. I close my eyes. After a few seconds i wake up in the void. I hear a worker "let us know what you see" he says. I walk around. I see billy working on his car. I walk up to him. I see a cut on the side of his arm "fucking Neil" i think "do you see anything" he asks "nope" i say back lying. I walk away from billy. I see dad at his desk "i see my dad at his desk" i say "anything out of the ordinary" he asks "no" i say back. I walk around more. I see myself. I didn't look normal. I walk up to myself. My eyes were black instead of gray and my body was covered in black veins "i see myself" i say "anything weird" he asks "I'm covered in the black vein that are on my hands" i say back "get away from it" he says. I walk away. I see vecna. I freeze in place. He walks up to me "we meet again" he says "what do you want" i say back "there trying to trick you" he says "who" i say back "everyone here" he says. I look around and see everyone i know. They didn't look like there selfs. "Leave them alone" i say "you know what you did" he says "I've done a lot that i shouldn't have" i say back "that kid" he says. I realize that he means the kid that caused the gate to open. "It was the only choice" i say back "you chose to kill him" he says "it was that or he was going to kill me" i say back "and he didn't pull the trigger because you killed him" he says. I step back. Everyone got closer to me. It felt like everything was spinning. "It's your fault" everyone says over and over again. They made a circle around me. I cover my ears and close my eyes. I hear people panicked. I open my eyes and look around. I was on the floor "what did you see" he asks "vecna" i say back "who" he asks "he's like the king of the upside down, my dads still trying to find stuff out about him" i say back. The worker takes me back to my room "i want to help you" he says "if you try Brenner will most likely hurt you" i say back "he won't be back till tomorrow, I'm taking you to your house so you can see your dad then I can try to make up a lie that Brenner will believe " he says "I'm taking august and Chloe will me" i say back "Chloe has a tracker, so you can only take august for now" he says "tell Brenner a worker kidnapped me and that i was taking to a different state" i say back "perfect i know the person that will be framed" he says. He leaves. I go to Brenner's office with august. I find the phone and i dial Billy's number. It rings then someone picks up "hello" Neil says "Neil get billy on the fucking phone" i say back. Neil yells for billy. "Hey" billy says "Hargrove i need your help" i say back "where the fuck are you" billy says "I'm at the lab and a lot of crazy shit is going on, I'll tell you later but i need you to come get me" i say back "i can do that see you soon" billy says "you to" i say back before hanging up. I find my clothes and get dressed. I find my gloves and put them on "fuck you vecna" I think. "Ready to find a way out" i say "i was born ready" she says. We meet up with the worker. He gives me a card "it opens every door" he says "perfect" i say back. We make are way to the main door "get ready to use your powers" i say "you to" she says. We get thru the door. We make are way outside thru the back door. We make it out "how the fuck did we do that" she says "luck" i say back. We see Billy's car. "Ready to race" i say "you bet" she says. We run to billy. "I won" i say "yeah yeah" she says we laugh "who is this" billy says "it's my clone, yeah Brenner made another me" i say back "what the fuck" billy says "I'll give you the full story later" i say back. We get in the car and billy drives home. I take my pack of cigarettes out of the door and light a cigarette "how have I never found your cigarette" billy says "I'm just good at hiding them i guess" i say back "you still do that" august says "never plan on stopping" i say back "how dose she know" billy asks "we have the same memories" i say back "ok this got creepy quick" billy says "tell me about it" i say back. We make it home. We get out "ready to see dad" i ask "i know what he looks like" she says "well we're sisters now" i say back "I plan on going back to doing my own thing" she says "you have to change then you can go back to living off the woods" i say back "dick" she says "hey two can win at this game" i say back. She flips me off. We go inside. Dad comes out of his room "glam!" Dad says. Dad sees august "wait" dad says "she's me" i say back "boo bitch" she says "the fuck happened" dad says "you'll get the full story later" i say back. We go to my room. I give august clothes "just know that the worker was working on getting Chloe out" she says "oh shit i forgot about Chloe" i say back "hopefully the worker can get the tracker out" she says. August changes "good bye I'm off to the woods, I'll see you again someday" she says "be safe" i say back. She leaves and i change. Billy walks in "what did he do to you" billy asks "you sure you want to know" i say back "yes" billy says. We go downstairs and sit at the table with dad. I tell them everything that happened "I'm going to fucking kill him" billy says. Dad looks at my neck "that left a hell of a mark" dad says "no shit" i say back. Me and billy go back to my room. I lay on my bed "god i missed this bed" i say. Billy gets on top of me "i missed you" billy says. I wrap my arms around his neck "i missed you to" i say back. He kisses me "I'm never letting you out of my site" billy says "works for me" i say back.
