73. Take over

"So what's the deal with you and Lucas" Eddie asks "ever since i started dating billy he's had a problem with me, most likely because billy doesn't like max talking to him" i say back. We walk out into the hall. "Glam northwest please come to my office" the principal says over the speaker. "The fuck now" i say "I'll come with" Eddie says. We make are way to the office. We walk in "it's for you" he says handing me the phone. "Hello" i say "glam get home brenner's on the look for you again" dad says "fuck, i have a plan don't worry" i say back "just don't get caught" dad says "believe me i won't" i say back before hanging up. Me and Eddie leave the office "your stuck with me till I'm with billy" i say "why what's going on" Eddie says confused "brenner the guy that tested on me is looking for me" i say back "don't worry nothing can get past me" Eddie says. We sit in front of my locker for a few minutes. We see billy. He looked pissed "play it cool" i whisper "ok" Eddie says nervous. We stand up and billy stands in front of us "billy it's cool" i say "who's this guy" billy says "he's a childhood friend, i can get my dad to find pictures of us together if you want" i say back "you better not be lying" billy says "I'm not, but i do need your help" i say back "with what" billy says "brenner's looking for me" i say back "again" billy says "I'm going to go" Eddie says walking away. "Your not leaving my site" billy says grabbing my wrist. We go to my car "I'm following you home" billy says "ok" i say back. I get in my car and wait for billy to be in his. We drive home. I park and quickly run inside. I see dad and Sadie. Dad hugs me "thank god your ok" dad says. Billy walks inside "like i said not letting you out of my site" billy says. We go to my room. I change and put my bike keys in my pocket "why do you need those" billy asks "you never know" i say back. We talk for a few minutes. We hear a crashing sound downstairs and people running thru the house. I try to leave my room but billy pulls me back. I hear Sadie yelling "billy I'll be fine" i say "glam don't" billy says. I grab my gun off my dresser and i run downstairs. I run into the kitchen. Two guys had Sadie corner and dad was no where to be seen. "Hey dicks!" I yell. They turn round. Billy stands behind me. The guys had shock sticks "stay behind me" i whisper. I look at Sadie and nod. She grabs the ones stick and shocks him. I get beside Sadie. I use my powers to pin the other guy against the wall. "I got this you get your dad" Sadie says. I drop the guy and grab Billy's hand. We go outside. We stand on the porch. "Stay here" i say. I get off the porch and get on my bike. I drive off. After a few minutes i catch up to Brenner's van. I get in front of it. "Powers don't fail me now" i think. I use my powers to get the van to swerve. The van hits a tree. I turn around and park my bike. I walk up to the van. I see Brenner passed out in the driver seat. I open the back and see dad. I get in the help dad up "you ok" i ask "i think" dad says. We get out. We see more of brenner vans "we're fucked" dad says "maybe" i say back. They stop in the middle of the road. Eight guys get out and run up to us. I try to use my powers but they don't work "fucking powers" i say "just think of something that pisses you off" dad says. Anything I thought wasn't working "dad get out of here" i say "I'm not leaving you" dad says. I loss control over my body and my vision goes black. I wake up in the void "what the hell" i say looking around. I see vecna and get off the ground "welcome six" he says "the hell happened" i say back he laughs. He lifts my head up by my chin with his finger. I look at him "hurt them how they hurt you six" he says "what" i say back confused "all the times papa hurt you, all the times the other kids hurt you, every time someone hurt you, do the same to them" he says "how do you know" i say back. He lets go of my chin and turns my arm over. He puts his arm beside mine. The vines move and reveal 001 on his wrist "your one" i say "get your revenge" he says. I get my vision back and look around. Billy had me pined to the ground. Dad had my gun and was talking to brenner. Brenner had a gash on his forehead. I look at my arm. The veins had taken over my arm. You almost couldn't see my number. "I'm good, it's me" i say. Billy let's me up. I look at brenner he notices that I'm back to normal. "Six" he says "you son of a bitch!" I yell. I try get to him but billy grabs me. Sadie gets in front of me. "This ain't over!" i yell. Brenner gets closer to me. Billy holds onto my wrists. "Your the reason for all of this!" I yell "i didn't do any of this" brenner says "your the one that made one who he is!" I yell back. Brenner looks pissed at the mention of one "you have no idea what potential he had" brenner says "you say that about all the kids you take!" I yell back. Billy and Sadie take me to Billy's car. They put me in and Sadie holds the door shut. Billy gets in the locks the door "the fuck do you think your doing" i say "getting you out of here" billy says. Billy starts the car. I use my powers to keep the car from moving. "Glam" billy says "that mother fucker deserves to die" i say back "i know your not happy about this" billy says "no you don't" i say back. I try to open the door "billy unlock this door" i say "I'm not letting you out" billy says "billy Hargrove let, me, out" i say back "no" billy says. I use my powers to try to get the door open. Billy grabs my wrist "don't" billy says. I take my wrist back. I try again "august!" billy yells. I freeze hearing that name. I look at him "glam I'm sorry, i didn't mea-" billy says i cut him off "fuck you Billy" i say back trying to keep it together. I get the door open. I get out and go to my bike. Dad keeps Brenner from getting close to me. I get on and drive off. I feel tears fall down my face. I drive to a field. I get off my bike and walk around. I start to walk to the other side of the field. The sun was almost down. I hold onto myself. I hear a car. I look behind me and see billy parked beside my bike. Billy starts walking to me. I walk faster. "Glam!" Billy yells "fuck you!" I yell back. I try to block out Billy's voice. I fall to the ground. I curl up in a ball still holding onto myself. Billy sits beside me "I'm sorry" billy says "no your not" i say back "glam, please" billy says "you know the past behind that name, yet you still called me it, i don't call you by your fist name, so fuck you" i say back. Everything goes silent. Billy puts his hand on my side."keep your fucking hands off me" i say billy takes his hand off me "What would it take for you to forgive me" billy asks. I didn't want to respond but knew if i didn't billy wouldn't leave me alone. I roll on my back and look at him. "A bottle of vodka and for you to never call me that again" i say "deal" billy says. I sit up and put my knees to my chest. Billy looks at me "is that your way of feeling safe" billy asks i look at him confused. Billy sits like me "only way i felt safe in the lab" i say. "It's been almost a year since i met you" billy says i laugh "didn't think you remembered" i say back "like i would forget" billy says. "What happened" i ask "you lost control, like me" billy says "grate, I'm a fucking danger to myself" i say back. We walk back my bike and Billy's car. "See you later" billy says i nod. I go to get on my bike but billy pulls me back. He hugs me. "When are you nice" i say "only to you" billy says. He let's go "see you soon darling" billy says "yeah yeah you to fucker" i say back. I get on my bike and drive home. I pass where the van crashed. Everything had been cleaned up already. I make it home and park. I go inside. Dad didn't say anything which was unusual. I go to my room. I look in my mirror. My body was covered in black veins. I sit at my desk. I see vecna "good job" he says "I'm not believing that" i say back "I'm not papa i mean it" he says. I stand up "let's take over Hawkins" he says "why are you helping me" i say back "i was testing you, i wanted to see how you did under different circumstances" he says. I look at my arms. "Your more powerful then eleven" he says "not surprising" i say back "We're the most powerful" he says. I think for a few seconds "I'll help" i say back "with what" he says smiling "I'll help take over" i say back "good" he says "under some circumstances" i say back "and what would that be" he says "you don't hurt my friends and you get rid of these veins" i say back "deal" he says. I wake up and look around. I look at my arms and they were back to normal. I get up and look in the mirror. I had one black vein on the side of my neck. "What did i fucking agree to" i think.
