Yukari stuck her head outside of the gunner's hatch.
She was wearing a boy's uniform with the sleeves and legs cut to fit her,
She had a spare M38 tanker helmet on, with her fluffy hair sticking out from it,
The cool wind knocking the sweat off of her face
She looked around the tank in absolute awe, they finally made it out of the forest, revealing enormous pastures spreading out in every direction,
It was so massive to the point of making the massive T29 look so pathetically small in comparison
A small green dot, in a giant white mass,
Almost like a bug crawling slowly on a sheet of paper.
Hedgerows and trees flanked the dirt road on either side, and you could make out more forests and trees on the horizon, far away.
The overcast sky stretched out for miles above them, covering the earth like a blanket.
It didn't feel anything like her homeland, where everything was made to make convenient use of space,
Even the most massive Sensha-dō battlegrounds paled in comparison.
"Hey uh, can you load this into the machine gun?" Someone said from below her
It was a box full of ammo,
But the machine gun was already loaded
"The machine gun is loaded, I don't know what you mean?" She said
"He means take off the old ammo box and load the new one," Carm said gruffly
"Okay, uh, fine I guess." She looked at the machine gun, unsure of what to do exactly.
Carm ran her through the steps on how to load a fifty cal.
