The boys kept their eyes anxiously pointed towards the road, nervous that they may slip.

The T29 continued down the snowed over path.

A glint of metal or something appeared in the distance,

Something hit his tank

Whatever it was startled Carm enough to almost fall off his commander's chair.

He analyzed what hit the cupola,

It was a bullet,

A.... Live..... bullet......

The glint returned

Carm then realized what it was.....

A sniper!

"EVERYONE, INSIDE THE TANK, NOW!!"

All of the hatches were immediately closed.

Carm peered from the vision slits in the commander's cupola

"W-W-What is happening?!" Yukari whimpered obviously startled or scared or something....

No time to think!

Foreign voices started shouting loudly.

A rocket or something like one smashed the side of the T29s turret.

Everyone rumbled from one side to another.

"Argh!" Carm yelled,

Falling off of his commander's chair.

The shock absorbers put inside the seats of the tank weren't enough to completely stop the brute force of the terrible impact.

The tank stopped

"W-What was that s-sir?" Dan asked him, his voice shaking

"I know as much as you!" Carm barked

There were human figures in the trees, and they ran as fast as they could away.

Carm looked downwards though the narrow slit.

Carm saw a yellow tube on the ground, it looked almost like a pipe...

Wait....

No, it can't be.....

Carm opened his cupola hatch,

And climbed out, anxious to see what the yellow tube is.

He climbed out and walked towards it,

That wasn't an ordinary yellow tube

It could penetrate 280mm of armor at any distance.

The expendable plastic tube was thrown away after a single use.
