Carm disembarked the train that brought them there.

The T29E3 had to be transported by different methods than other tanks due its sheer 70 ton weight,

And it had its own purpose built railcar, which was significantly reinforced to facilitate the steel monster

The turret was facing backwards, because the massive gun barrel stuck out so far to the point that it would hit the vehicle in front of it, if it was pointed forwards.

"Steady..... steady.... You're good!" Carm shouted

Dan gave Carm the thumbs up as he maneuvered the giant vehicle with as much grace as he could

*CREEEEEEK

The railcar screamed for mercy as the weight of the T29 shifted around, a side effect the tank rolling off of the flatbed.

the T29 navigated itself off of the flatcar, the professional drivers that were meant to get the vehicle off of the flatcar were too worried about damaging the tank, or the train itself.

Dan was the only guy Carm knew who could drive "the beast" as it was known by now, effectively.

The 770-horsepower engine groaned with more power as the tanks set off to the on-field garages

But still, having a garage on site was lovely.

It provided the guys with much needed shade, instead of sweating buckets in the heat,

(Which smells awesome inside the tank's superheated interior)

The crowds of people who were walking by each stall were pretty dumbfounded by the size of the boy's tank in comparison to the other, much smaller vehicles.
