It's been days and I started to realize that demiurge wasn't getting used to me. I keep thinking it was my fault but was it all an act, he loved his kids as he played with them alot but when around me it was like he was distancing himself
"Mom?"
Called mayu who was laying on the sofa with me
"I'm hungry"
She said softly, I was happy to have someone near me all the time but I wished she was more like her brother. I gave them lunch and watched them eat. Demiurge had to leave off for a mission my brother gave him.
"I promise to be back"
He said as I said nothing, I guess he could tell I was upset or something, he tried to make it up to me but I ignored him.
When he left I went Back to my motherly work.
The children's wings started to come in. I noticed them when I giving them a bath
It was soon time for them to start flying. I was surprised to see mayu with angel wings and the boys with devil wings. Vlad came over for their check-up and didn't find anything wrong
"Well, they are half of you and demiurge."
"Yeah but Vlad. Are they ok?"
I asked, thinking they could be sick.
"There are, but I know why you're worried. You believe one of them have your illness "
He said as I nodded, when my race changed it seemed that my sickness was gone but I wasn't sure. I was more afraid of my kids having it and if the boys are healthy then-
"I'm scared that mayu could have it"
"Don't say that, everything is ok. You know if mayu was sick I would have told you"
He said but I still felt scared
"Everything will be fine."
He said taking my hand. I smiled and thanked him
"Can you do me a favor, I have to do something so can you-"
"Say no more"
He said cutting me off
"Your kids are family to me and everyone in Yuki so no worries. Go do your job"
He said as I hugged him
"Vlad your the best "
He hugged me back, when I let go I looked over to the kids seeing them playing outside with mayu as well. She was finally getting along with her brothers
"I have to talk to the kids "
"It won't be easy, they will cry "
He told me
"It's ok, I know how they feel."
I said and called the kids in
"Listen my love bugs, mommy has to go to work right now and I'm going to be gone for a couple of days"
When I said that they began to cry
"Don't go, mommy!!"
They cry and held onto my kimono
"This is a nightmare"
I said with a sigh as Vlad laughed
It took a while but Vlad had to hold them back while I headed to the door. They screamed and cry not wanting me to go
