November 20th, 1993

Artemis POV

"Are we there yet?" Cassie asked again.

"Soon sweetheart." I told her.

We were like a mile from Hogsmeade, we're staying in the Shrieking Shack.

It's been a few months, I think.

We've been spotted once in our human form, in Dovetown.

Sirius has gotten more grumpy. I hope he will calm down when we reach the shack.

Once we got into the Shrieking Shack, Sirius led us to a room upstairs.

Everything was so old and creaky.

And you could still see Remus' claw marks on the furniture.

"Cassie you are not to go outside without your mom or I." Sirius told our daughter.

Cassie nodded and began to trot around the room.

"What's the plan now?" I asked Sirius.

"I'll go into the castle and poke around for information every now and then." Sirius said.

"Ok." I said and went to sit in the corner of the room.

Once the sun set Cassie yawned and came over and curled next to me.

"Hey I'm gonna go into the castle tonight." Sirius said.

"Bye." I said as he nuzzled Cassie and I before he left.

After an hour or so he came back and Cassie was asleep.

"I lost my temper and slashed the fat lady's portrait with a knife when she wouldn't let me in." Sirius said.

I just shook my head, I'm not surprised.

Sirius then curled around Cassie and our noses touching and fell asleep.

7 months later

Cassie and I were chillin' in the shack when Sirius came bolting through the door.

"I've seen that boy and Pettigrew is with him, I'm going in and going to take Pettigrew here." Sirius said and rushed out of the room.

"Be careful Sirius, keep your head on." I yelled at him.

"Cassie, dad is bringing someone bad here, you need to hide if your dad and I tell you to hide. ok." I told her and she nodded.

We both transformed into humans and waited for Sirius.

Then I heard the yells of a boy.

Less than a minute later, Sirius dragged a red headed boy holding a rat through the door by the boy's leg.

Once Sirius transformed the boy looked even more terrified than he already was.

"Y-You're Sirius and Artemis Black." He stuttered.

"Nice eye sight." Sirius said sarcastically.

"Sirius what have you done?" I said as I looked at the poor boy.
