Chapter 10

At the hotel.

All woke up very late. Dad woke up and spotted the little note. He read and wondered. Mom came to Dad and looked at the note too. Mom took her phone and called Lisa.

'Mom?' Lisa answered.

'Hey Lisa. Where are you? Just read the note.'

'Ummm, we're in a park. Don't know how it is called.'

'Ask your brother.'

Lisa put down the phone and asked him.

'We're 10 minutes away from the hotel.' Michael said.

Lisa took her phone.

'He said we're 10 minutes away from the hotel.' Lisa said.

'The city and the country is unknown for you, so please come back soon.'

'Yes Mom...'

'You need the insulin. Don't forget.' Mom continued.

'Oh yes.. We're coming back soon. Bye.' Lisa said and ended the call.

Lisa looked to Mike.

'We need to go back... Need the syringe...' Lisa said.

'It's okay. Come on. Let's walk.' Michael said.

They went to the street. They had to ask for the way. Lisa already felt tired again.

'Excuse me? Do you speak English?' Michael said.

The woman didn't understand, so they went to a guy.

'Do you speak English?' Michael asked again.

'Yes, what's up?' The guy said.

'Oh that's fine. Where's the Securita hotel?'

'Just follow this way. Then you can see tags.'

'Muchas gracias' Lisa said.

The guy smiled and left the road. Lisa walked down the way, but then she had to hold on.

'Michael, please wait a moment...' Lisa said.

'Hey, Lis, what's up? Are you okay?' He said worried.

'I'm okay... ' Lisa said.

She knew why she didn't feel good. She didn't eat since 2 days. They walked along the way and they finally came to the hotel. Lisa got her syringe and then she fell asleep.

'Why did you leave?' Mom asked.

'We were awake and I went outside with her because she needed some fresh air.' Michael said.

'Did she eat something?'

'No, Mom.'

'She didn't eat since 2 days or something. That's not good.' Mom said.

'What?' Michael said confused.

'Yes. Just realized too.'

Dani and Christina came laughing to them.

'Hey Michael. Hey Mom.' Dani said.

'Dani, Christina, did you see Lisa eating the last hours, days?' Mom asked.

'Why?' Christina answered.

'Please tell me if you don't see her eating. She didn't eat since 2 days, so we need to look at her... It's difficult because of the insulin too.' Mom said.

Dani and Christina were looking at the sleeping Lisa behind Mom. They were worried about Lisa. Will Lisa find her life again?
