"SHHHHH!" Madam Pince shushed me.
"Carina." Regulus said, looking up at me casually.
"How long are you going to be avoiding me for?" I demanded, towering over him as I leaned my hands on the table.
"What makes you think I'm avoiding you?" he asked innocently.
"Seriously? You're just going to pretend like you haven't been ignoring me since last Saturday?"
"Quite sure I remember us, being here, together on Saturday. And I did see you during all of the classes that we have together."
"You mean, like in Alchemy on Wednesday when you refused to say a word to me?"
He nodded. "Wasn't really in a chatty mood that day."
"Are you joking?"
He shook his head.
"Alright. Fine. If that's how you wanna be, then fine. Whatever." I told him, taking my hands off the table.
I turned to leave the library; besides, I've places to be today, a party to plan.
"Carina." Regulus said to me.
I walked away from where he was sitting.
"Carina!" he exclaimed.
"SSHHHHH!" Madam Pince shushed him.
A chair screeched. I continued towards the exit.
"Carina! Carina wait!" I heard Regulus yell after me.
"Out! Get out!" Pince yelled at him.
"I'm already leaving!" he replied in a clipped tone.
I chuckled, stepping out into the corridor.
"For fucks sake, Carina!" Regulus cursed, grabbing my arm to stop me.
I looked down at his hand that was holding my arm then glanced up at him.
"Oh? You suddenly want to talk?" I asked.
He furrowed his brows. "Carina, look-"
"Mm, sorry, I'm afraid I'm a bit too busy to chat." I gave him a tight lipped smile.
