Kelly POV
We all stood in front of Samantha's grave. By we, I mean me, Niall, Harry, Dawn, Liam, Leila, Delaika, Louis, Zayn, Perrie, Cassidy, and Reyna. Samantha died days later after she got shot, and as for Summer, she ran away, not bothering to show up to her own sister's funeral, which was just a few weeks ago. "Hey Samantha," Perrie's voice cracked, tears spilling from her eyes. Zayn put his arms around her, comforting her. "Today Niall and Kelly wanted to sing to you on a song they thought you'd like. We know you're watching over us from heaven...and we want you to hear it." I began singing.
Your fingertips, across my skin
The palm trees swaying in the wind
Images
You sang me Spanish Lullabies
The sweetest sadness in your eyes
Clever trick
I never want to see you unhappy
I thought you'd want the same for me
Goodbye, my almost lover
Goodbye, my hopeless dream
I'm trying not to think about you
Can't you just let me be?
So long, my luckless romance
My back is turned on you
I should've known you'd bring me heartache
Almost lovers always do
Niall began singing smoothly and softly, rubbing my back gently from the tears spilling.
We walked along a crowded street
You took my hand and danced with me
Images
And when you left you kissed my lips
You told me you'd never forget the images, no
I never want to see you unhappy
I thought you'd want the same for me
The rest of our group surrounding Samantha's grave watched in awe and admiration as Niall and I's voices collided.
Goodbye, my almost lover
Goodbye, my hopeless dream
I'm trying not to think about you
Can't you just let me be?
So long, my luckless romance
My back is turned on you
I should've known you'd bring me heartache
Almost lovers always do.
Oh, oh, almost lovers always do....
We stopped and smiled at each other as Niall wiped the tears from my eyes. Perrie and Zayn placed roses on Samantha's grave. Harry, Delaika, Reyna, Louis, Dawn, Leila, Liam, Cassidy, Niall and I did the same. Rest in peace, Samantha.
