One of Ironwood's guns was knocked inside the hall and shot Ellen in the leg, "I'M ON MY WAY! STAY THERE!!!" Noi made her way through the the crowd to Ellen, "What the hell happened?" she said while placing her hands over Ellen's leg, "I don't know! One of Ironwood's guns went through the door and shot me!" Ellen said in immense pain, "I don't think it was on purpose, Kaiman! Go see what happened!" Noi shouted, "ON IT!" Kaiman raced out to see what happened. "Jesus! He is taller then Guts!!" Jojo said, Bernadetta clung to JoJo's leg as Kaiman ran past, as if she was afraid of him. "Don't worry guys. He's a giant teddy bear... Most of the time" Nikaido smiled.
Meanwhile outside, Ironwood looked toward the door with a hand over his mouth. "That was a mistake. I meant to drop my weapons the other way... That went through the door and shot someone. Didn't it?" Kaiman looked at Ironwood and nodded, "It was an accident and Noi is healing the student.. I'll let everyone know it's an accident" he rushed back. "I'll let Sakura know know what the go is, and we can continue our talk" Selkie immediately called Sakura.
Kaiman ran back into the hall, "Ironwood says it was an accident... He actually looked and sounded like he was being serious and concerned" Many students in the audience didn't believe a word, "Yeah right!" "Ironwood cause an accident? As if!" "Ha! He meant to do that!" "No really! I believe him... For once" Kaiman said, "No way! He did this to me on purpose!" Bailey called out, "Me too!" Tinuviel added, Doom nodded. Bernadetta gritted her teeth and angrily trudged over to stand beside Kaiman. "Well, I think you guys are in the wrong here! Yeah, Ironwood seems to do whatever it takes to get his way, but to actively put us in danger?! Not likely!" "Bernie..." Asuna said quietly, "He was the one leading the Grimm to us! You think he's merciful?!" Ayashii asked, "Yeah, I do!" Bernadetta said, "Thank you small one! At least someone is on my side!" Kaiman said, "I believe you. He's an asshole, but he would never actually shoot any of his students" Nate said.
"Well, if Bernie is on your side, I'm here too!" Kento said, "Me three!" Shizue cheered, "He pointed a gun at Guts though!" Bouddicca said, "But he's a coward. I knew he wouldn't pull the trigger on a child." Guts walked up beside Bouddicca, "I don't think he knows what he is doing at the moment. Though if he wishes to punish me for making everyone have a fun time and be happy so be it. I'll take all the blame" Jessica smiled, "Guys, this arguing isn't going to get us anywhere..." Hikari mumbled, almost inaudible, "You're right. Let's continue to have fun as long as Ellen is okay?" Tinuviel said, "She's fully healed and is able to dance again if she wishes" Noi got up and proudly stood there. "If you need me, I'll be at the bar..." Ellen walked off.
Sakura ran to Selkie, "What happened?! Are you okay?!" "James" Selkie said, Sakura turned to Ironwood, "What did you do?" "I accidentally shot a student tossing my guns away" Ironwood said, "He's being serious, it went off when it hit the ground. It was an accident" Selkie said, "Why were you tossing your guns?" Sakura asked, "So I could explain what I've done without reaching for them" Ironwood sighed.
"A few years ago, I was a very disrespected headmaster, no one ever wanted to listen to me. There was a terrible accident that evolved from it, a student decided to disobey my orders and wandered off during a mission. That action got them and their entire team killed by Grimm. I couldn't let any more deaths happen on my watch. So I needed to do everything I could to get these kids to respect me. And what's the fastest way to gain respect? In my eyes, it was fear. I scared these kids by yelling orders and administering harsh punishments to make them respect me. But know I realise that I'm only making things worse. I pointed a gun at Guts. What the fuck was I thinking?! I need to have a balance between getting respect and giving respect, and I've been failing that for years now. I don't know what else to do..." Ironwood finished, a small tear ran down his face.
