When Alijah left me yesterday, I fell asleep pretty quickly. Now it's the next day and Alijah came and told me that today I could go home if I wanted.
Since I came out of the coma, I haven't heard that one male voice talking, even though all my brothers and dad came to see me.
I took the clothes that Liliana bought me. I changed into a grey crop top, sweatpants, and a cardigan
Alijah walked into my hospital room and told me that our car was outside waiting for us and I nodded and took my bag.
As we walked through the doors, Alijah stopped. And turned towards me
"Aurora, when we go home, there will be a lot of people. And by a lot of people, I mean over 15 people," he told me
"Let me guess they are our cousins, aunts, and uncles," I told him
"Yes and our grandparents from dad's side have been dying to see you," he told me.
"Okay," I told him, understanding
We walked to the car and sat in the backseat The driver started driving as
I started to look for my phone, remembering that I hadn't seen it since the accident
I looked at alijah
He looked like he was in deep thought. I tapped my pinky on his shoulder and he looked at me
"Yes, sunshine," he smiled at me
"Alijah Do you know where my phone is?" I looked at him
"Umm, maybe Aleksei has it because he had the twins and Tristan's phones; you can use my phone right now if you need it."
he told me as he offered his phone to me
"Okay, but no, thank you," I told him with a smile and he nodded
I turned back to the window.
If he's back, then everyone around me is in danger.
Only Alice knows that
He was my first relationship and he is toxic.
He knows what I have been through, my biggest fears, and my allergies.
He knows everything about me and it's scary knowing that he has the power to destroy me and everything close to me.
I didn't realize that we arrived home and Alijah was shackling me
"You okay?" He raised an eyebrow
"Yeah, I'm all good, just thinking." I gave him a slight smile and he nodded
We walked towards the door and I looked at Alijah. Seeing that he was already looking at me, "It's like the first time I arrived here, the car arrives, the guards nod towards us and then we enter and everyone is, omg, is it her? I'm 100% sure of it." I chucked
"Sure, let's make a bet If they act like that, I'll give you 50 dollars; if not, then you have to give me the same amount of money," He put his hand out for me to shake
"Deal." I shook his hand and opened the doors. We walked through the halls to the main living room.
As we got there, the chatter stopped, and everyone looked at us. I heard a 'whisper, is she her?' and I knew that Alijah heard that because he took his wallet out
He chuckled and shook his head while handing me a 50 bill
"Thank you very much, and next time, remember that I'm always right." I smiled at him sweetly
"Alijah, why did you give her money?" A girl asked Alijah while smiling. She couldn't be older than 19
"We made a bet that if one of you guys asked if she was our sister, I had to give her 50 dollars," he chuckled and looked at her, then at me
I and Alijah talked about the most random stuff when he suddenly started smiling and I was tackled to the ground from behind
"Hey, have you missed me?" Antonio asked with a large grin on his face while I turned my head towards him
Before I could say anything, mum and dad walked in with 3 females and 5 men behind them
"Antonio, get off my baby and before you crush her," Sofia scoffed and Fernando just looked at Antonio and shook his head
He huffed and got off me. " why is she everyone's favorite?" he mumbled
"Okay, quick question, Antonio, can I use your phone?" I asked him as he got off me
"Yeah, here," he told me while handing me the phone
"Thanks; I'll be back soon." I looked at him as I left the living room and walked towards my room
I scrolled through his contacts until I found Liliana's name
"Hey Antonio, how are you?"
"Hey Lily, this is aurora."
"Hey Aurora, why are you using Antonio's phone?" She asked
"That's why I called you; do you know where my phone is? nobody at home has it."
"No, Alex only had our phones and Tristan's but he didn't find yours."
Fuck, if someone gets into it, I'm fucked. Everything important was in there. "Okay, thanks."
"I asked Lilith; she doesn't know who could have it."
"Okay, it's fine I just have to let go and get a new one." I quickly cut myself off from saying, Alice,"ok, good luck." And with that, she ended the call and didn't wait for me to respond
I shook my head, knowing that they were all probably stressed and didn't want to deal with my problems
I walked out of my room and back to the living room, seeing Marco and Matteo sitting on the couch
They both stood up and ran towards me.
Marco picked me up and twirled us around.
"Hey princess, missed me?" He asked as he kissed my forehead
"You will never change calling me that, right?" I asked for a nickname since we met, I wore a blue cinderella dress and lost my shoe so it became our inside joke
"Nope, do they know who you are, or do we need to keep it a secret?"
They are the only ones in the family who know what I do in my free time
"They don't and they won't know till I tell them got it."
"Got it," he told me, placing me on the floor, I turned to Matteo with a large grin and he returned. "I believe," he told me as he came and picked me up
"Heyy, Matteo, we would like to see our princess." Matteo and Marco's mum shook her head at her sons' actions
"Hello Darling, long time no see," she told me with a smile and open hands
"Hi Ma," I told her as I ran to hug her. She's like my second mother, always there for me. She told me about how she lost her daughter and that it feels like I'm her daughter sometimes.
"Okay, first of all, I'm offended because where is my hello hug and second of all, how do you know each other?" Fernando asked us with a raised eyebrow
"It's complicated but long story short, she was the reason we stayed in US, Fernando," Francisco told dad as he smiled at me
"Now I would like a hug from my princess." He turned to me and came to hug me. "How have you been?" he asked me. "Fine like always," I told him while smiling. We met each other 7 years ago when I stayed with the Joneses.
I just got out of the mission; I had a bruised face and Maria saw me. She took me with her and they have helped me ever since. They are the only people who know what I do, since they were a big help in starting it.
