"Since your parents aren't home wanna host a party?" I heard Rodrick say laying on my bed while I finish fixing my printer. "Aren't you grounded?" I ask, turning around to face him. "Yeah, but my parents won't know it's a party as far as they know I'm just staying over." He sat up.

"Fine but if my parents find out you owe me." I try out the printer to see if it actually prints it instead of ripping the paper. "Finally." I mumble.

I get a notification on my phone and see Rodrick has already invited most of the kids in our grade. "I'm guessing you want this party to get a girlfriend." I ask laying next to him. "Yep and I have a fool proof plan." I roll my eyes. "You said that last time and not only did you not get a girl you also got in trouble." I laugh.

"Don't remind me I would like to forget that ever happened. Now we have a party to set up. I told people it's BYOB so we don't have to worry about alcohol." He says getting up and going downstairs, rummaging through my food cupboards.

I thought I heard people pull up out the front. "Rodrick, what time did you say the party was gonna be?" I asked him, looking out the windo. "9:30. Why?" He says looking up from the bowl. "It's 9:20! We aren't even dressed." "Shit." I heard Rodrick mutter.

We both sped upstairs and gotten dressed. Luckily we were quick and let everyone in at 9:35. After a few minutes I noticed that more and more people are showing up half of them I'm pretty sure don't go to our school, let alone the same age as us. Thank god I locked my bedroom door.

I looked around and saw Rodrick with Gina, the girl he tried getting with last time. Basically touching her hips pushing her into to him. Every single time, I always think maybe that person he wants is me, maybe there's a slight chance he likes me.

I down the alcohol in my cup and just walked around until I saw a girl eye me. It took me a few seconds to realise it's Rodricks ex, Kira. She waved for me to come over. "Didn't think you'd be here." I tell her siting next to her. "Neither did I to be honest." She took a sip of her beer. "Then why are you here?" I asked. "Wanted to catch up with you. See how you're going with your crush on Rodrick." I froze. "I don't have a crush on him." I avoided eye contact with her.

"Hun, I saw how you looked at him while we were together. I'm glad you didn't try to steal him away." "Of course. I'm not like that. I put his happiness over mine."I sipped my drink.  "Speaking of Rodrick he's staring at us. Let's make him jealous." Her eyes flickering between Rodrick and I.

"How?" I ask. "Are you ok with making out with me?" "Yeah." She pulled me into her lap and we started making out. I could practically feel Rodrick staring. I mean he could be mad that I'm kissing his ex but he's said that he doesn't mind me sleeping with his exes. I have yet to sleep with one of them because I never really found any attractive except maybe Kira.

"Y/n, I need to talk to you. Now." He pulled me off of Kira and she sent me a wink. We get to my bedroom and he locks the door. "What the fuck y/n!?" He yelled. "What? You said you didn't care if I slept with your exes? What's the problem?" I ask. "Because I thought you liked me!" He paused. "I'm gonna need a better explanation than that." I answered.

"I thought you like liked me. Because I like you." He sat on my bed. "I do like you Rodrick." I sat next to him. "Then why were you making out with Kira?" "She knew I liked you so it was her idea to get you jealous. But why were you groping Gina if you liked me?" I crossed my arms. "I thought you saw me as a friend." I cupped his face and we kissed. "Should we go back to the party?" He asks. "Let's stay here for a little longer."
