chapter- (495) What do we demand from Paramatm and what do we get?

What else we demand from Paramatma? What we get after prayer?

यं यं चिन्त्न्यन्ते कामम् तं तं प्राप्नोति निश्र्चितम्

Arjun demanded Darshanam of Chaturbhuj Narayan but what do we demand? Bhartuhri in his Srinagar Shatak says as;

शास्त्रज्ञोङपि प्रगुणितनयनोङप्यात्तबोधोङपि बाढं

संसारेहस्मिन्भवति विलो भाजनं सद्गतीनाम् ।।

येनैतस्मिन्निरयनगरद्वारमुद्धाटयन्ती

वामाक्षीणां भवति कुटिला भ्रुलता कुञ्चिकेव ।। (77)

A person who is knowledgeable and even though he differentiates good and bad elements and follows all the rules of good conduct, he could not go for liberation because it is very difficult to avoid passion and lust, a hunger for opposite sex because a curl of hair on the forehead of a beautiful lady could open the gates of hell even for Gods and Rishi Munis then how could a poor man control his senses and physical desires to entertain his five organs. Our Shastra has described the power of VASNA वासना –KAMDEV कामदेव as nobody can have control over it. A story of Shiv doing Tapscharya is broken by Ma Parvati in the Swaroop of Bhildi. While during the churning of the ocean Mohini Swaroop makes Dev and Danav lost their senses is well known. In the story of Rishi Vishwamitraji and Valmiki Menka and Urvashi make them distracted from Tapscharya and the path of Salvation attracted to their beauty because nobody could overcome lust in any yoni. When a person becomes crazy after a beauty of a woman he becomes a dog running after a bitch as described in this verse.

कृशः काणः ख़ञ्जः श्रवणरहितः पूच्छविकलो

व्रणी पूयक्लिन्नः कृमिकुलशतैरावृततनुः ।

क्षुधाक्षामो जीर्णः पिठरककसालार्पितगलः

शूनीमन्वेति श्र्वा हतमपि च हन्त्येव मदनः ।।

A person becomes like a dog who is weak in body, blind by one eye, limping as he does not have one leg, no tail as he is injured and his wound is bleeding and push is seen with thousands of insects, worms in the wound, his body is weak because of hunger, he seems old as if he is wearing locket ring in his neck and he is running after a beautiful bitch. How ridiculous it seems! But history shows that most of the wars have roots in three things as

The reason for fighting, quarrels, and war lies mostly in women, land, and jewelry. We cannot control our five senses as the desire of entertaining our body is the most uncontrollable weakness in human beings so whenever we pray or worship, do jap Yagna or we do kamesti Yagna, putresti Yagna after every Stotram we are interested in FALSHRUTI फलश्रुति What would we get after doing this ritual, Yagna, Nam jap or reciting various stotram and Mantras for one hundred and eight times, one thousand times or for one lakhs times? Paramatma shows Arjun his Dwibhuj Swaroop on his demand of Darshanam. It is assured that Paramatma fulfills the desire of his devotee.
