I'm only an intern, but I'm taking over MountainView Hospital. At twenty-six years old, I'm all broad shoulders, brilliant smile and sexy scruff that has the head of every nurse we pass turning on a swivel. While I'm being introduced to the board and the administrators, led around the facility by the Director of Nursing, I check out the nurses. This place is a goldmine. So many pert asses in uniform. My salivary glands are working overtime.

And then I spot him. A male nurse, charting some notes into his computer. So fucking gorgeous. And familiar. Griffin is more attractive than I remember him. My sole consuming thought is: I wanna eat him up. Instantly, I'm fixated on bedding him.

After my last breakup resulted in a falling out with Emery, I decided to take a break from women. I want something different.

The Charge Nurse of the emergency department comes up to wrap her arm around his shoulders just as he makes eye contact with me.

"Time to clock out, babe." She kisses his cheek. "See you at 0700 tomorrow."

Fuck, I sigh inwardly, watching him take off.
