My first date with Tania is at the movies. It's a superhero action flick and I find myself on the edge of my seat, really into the film. I forgot it's a date until her hand slithers into mine.

She looks really hot. Really nice dress, perfect makeup, wavy blonde hair and a flawless look overall.

The only thing I don't like about her is the way she treats people, especially an ex-cheerleader who put on some weight over the summer. Tammy. For such a beautiful creature, Tania can be a vicious bully.

I check my phone discreetly during the intermission.

Emery is hanging out with Alexandra, probably studying.

I drive Tania home and leave her with a chaste kiss on the cheek. Emery taught me that only fuckboys and sluts give it up. Besides, I don't need a bedwarmer. Most guys my age are sad, lonely and wanting affection. I've got Em.

No one is surprised when Tania and I snag the lead roles in the upcoming Cinderella musical the high school is putting on. The script is an adaptation of Oscar Hammerstein II and Richard Rogers' work, which the art, music and English teachers have customized. I audition to play the prince and she will be playing Cinderella. Tania will be getting a few violin solos and the school choir and orchestra will also be joining in. Set design is already underway, spearheaded by the art teacher.
