"It's okay," he whispers. "It's okay. I'm right here. I'm not going anywhere." Gathering up more air to breathe, I sniffle, "Promise?" He confidently nods against my chest. "I promise." And in this brief moment, as I squeeze my eyes shut and savor the tender, light-hearted sensation of holding this boy between my arms, I realize that all I want to do right now is stay this close to him. Forever. For the rest of my life. For however long the universe decides to give us. And that's what scares me. *HEADS UP: this book goes through monthly editing if I need to add or remove dialogue and scenes to make story flow better*

Short story of a queen of the Seneca Nation. The character was a real life queen, but this story is a fantasy and not based in real facts. In this story a stranger claiming to be a British soldier enters the teepee of Aliquippa and tragedy unfolds. (Note: I am considering making this story longer. The reason why it's so short is because of entry requirements. It's an old story. Also, the woman in the cover is not Aliquippa. I used a free royalty photo for the cover.)

Girls? Are you here? Ahh! I screamed when I felt the impact of a heavy and massive body against mine. We rolled three times in the grass before coming to a halt from the sudden impact. I landed on my back and hit the back of my head on a loose stone. Let me go! His knees were blocking my legs so I couldn't kick him. I'll scream! Mmm! His palm covered my mouth before I say any more. He brought his face dangerously close to mine. This is the romantic adventure of young Iris, who's planned marriage will make her end up in the past. In a country where gold fever began and Indians and English raiders moved across American SOIL. Sorry for my english in advance and thank you for reading ❤️

For thousands of years, on a beautiful island in the sea, 13 tribes have co-existed in harmony with the natural world & one another. But a time of drought & hardship causes two tribes - Mattinecock & Nissequogue - to become embroiled in escalating tensions that nearly drive their villages to extinction: As the Nissequogue struggle to survive, the Mattinecock refuse to help the neighboring tribe, causing the unnecessary death of the Nissequogue sachems wife & burying a black seed of revenge & resentment deep in the heart of the young son she has left behind. The sachem remarries, but his new wife struggles to bear him another child amidst tribal hostilities, lack of rain & shortage of food. After 3 miscarriages they are finally blessed with a living child - until the sachems psychopathic firstborn son attempts to destroy the child in a fit of jealous rage. His plan is thwarted, however, after divine intervention by Manitou, a mysterious all-powerful force which governs all that is magical & mystical in the natural world ... unbeknownst to the tribes, the child has been chosen by the spirit realm to offer them a chance of redemption for their wrongdoing. Powerful deities Hobbamack, Mesingw & Kutonttowit are angry with the mortal people for the unnecessary suffering they've cause one another. The deities plan to punish & destroy those who have been selfish & cruel, disrupted the Algonquin way of life, & disrespected its teachings of peace & harmony. But in cutting out the insidious cancer invading the souls of the tribes, they must be careful not to destroy those who are pure of heart ... a girl who has been given a second chance at life, must now navigate her life path as she fulfills her destiny of bringing these two great tribes a second chance at co-existence. Rooted in the legend of Manetto Hill, Manitou is a tale of revenge, love, & its power to redeem - woven into the rich & fiercely fantastic natural world of the ancient indigenous people who called it home.
