“My life was normal, half way through with senior year, friends, I was some-what popular; I had everything going for me like planning for a job, my career, my house and car. Hell, I was well off on the financial aid. My life was normal, until the day I drowned and came back to life with not even a scratch or bruise.
Or so I thought.
Something was different, odd. I could always run, but I could run faster; I was stronger, I didn’t need as much oxygen as before, I could see better, smell better, and what’s scarier? I was seeing things. Things that weren’t there, or were but then changed. I danced on the edges of reality and a different world, a world called Purgatory.
The day I woke up from my bed after death, everything was different. I was different.”
