When Gold meets Silver (A Inuyasha fanfictio...
"Gold is warm and soft. Silver is strong and cold. Combined they are beautiful and shockingly compatible."
Once upon a time, around five hundred years ago in Feudal Japan, a princess was born to a wise and strong King and his kind Queen. Together with their beautiful daughter, born with hair as gold as the rising sun, the King and Queen of kitsunes ruled in peace and joy over their, while prosperis, rather small kingdom.
However, before marrying the daughter of the last king, King Masayoshi was a renowned warrior from a small forest kitsune village. Many challenged him, all were defeated. If he hadn't fallen in love with the fox-eared princess of the East, he most likely would have continued living a rugged life of bloodshed and traveling.
He was well known enough as a swordsman, now as King even more challengers and would-be-swindlers seek him out for personal gain. Soon after the birth of the princess, a war was declared. A powerful spider yokai had become spiteful and greedy at the thought of being the strongest yokai in Japan. So close to a year later, he had almost succeeded.
But, Masayoshi had a plan. After almost twelve months of constent attacks and countless battles, the small kingdom had almost been reduced to nothing but memory. Masayoshi had already evacuated his city and castle, all that was left was his family.
He sent his daughter off with a young servant, and fled with his wife to his old home. The village in the trees.
Seventeen years have passed since then, the girl has grown up like most present day females. Her life was mostly normal, until the day the spider finally tracked her down.
