This fic (at first) follows the basic storyline of Demon Slayer, starting with chapter 106 of the manga, found in volume 12 (weird place to start, I know, but just bare with me). I've added a few characters, removed a few characters, and drastically altered something. I've also spared the lives of a few characters that were killed off in the original, killed a few characters whose lives were spared in the original, and changed a few details about the franchise. These things gradually change the story to divert from the original story more and more to the point that the story becomes virtually unrecognizable and also extends far past what was the ending in the original. I've written introductions before the chapters of the story to go into more detail about what you should know before reading this. Cover images for chapters do not belong to me- they are either from Demon Slayer directly or art by someone else.

School has been tough but Elena had managed to survive two years of it. Being the only child of a missing father who would only send a few hundred dollars a month to a sixteen year old didn't help. She spent most of her time in school or with her best friend, Riley. A bad boy named Carson Collins practically ruled the school being a B1 and all (His rank). Girls would stare at him, follow him, and would fangirl over him. Elena was a stranger to him until that one day. One minute they were in school and the next, they were running away together. Leona Sonu, A.K.A: Sunny by her peers. Born and raised in Unda, one of the western provinces of Amesta, in the port town Ros. She was raised in a Middle Upper class family, with 3 older brothers, as she was constantly picked on by her brothers for being the youngest and the only girl, she learned how to defend herself and fight early on in life. She is always the best in her class in all subjects, be it Sports or Literature, but she is unbeliavably rash. She looks like an ordinary girl, however she is anything but. Ever since she was a child she has had the ability to control air, and lately she has been learning to fly, in secret of course. Sunny is a S.M.P (Specialized Military Personnel). The MI (Military Intelligence) scouted her when she graduated Highschool, offering a full scholarship into SMPT(T: trainee). She nor her parents knew it was a military school. That summer right before her first "semester" at the SMPT, tragedy struck, the Misane bombed Amesta's capital Gemma, starting a war between Amesta and Misane. There were over 10,000 wounded, and over 2,000 dead. One of which was Sunny's closest friend, whom she grew up with Kisa Nekone. Being in Shock, she didn't show any emotions for weeks, though she eventually forced herself to act happy and smile, for the sake of her family, who was getting very concerned. Angry and determined, Leona goes to the enlistment tent, to sign up -there was originally 3 buildings in every province, but since the bombing the military put up 20 tents in every province - only to be humiliated by the officer telling her she was already in the SMP corps. Realizing she was already in, she poured herself into her studies, determined to excel in the classes. The end of the summer marks the beginning of her adventures as a military personnel.

She thinks if in the reality she's the outcast, here she is the protagonist. Not until a player showed up, a very clumsy and flirty player. He was the weakest there he didn't even know how to play the game itself. And because he was a rookie no one wants to be team up with him. And because Elisia is Elisia she help the player gain more ranks. And because of that interaction Elisia just found herself falling for the man she helped. She didn't even realized that it was just a fake world they're living, she was eaten up by the system. She wanted to confess in the game knowing that maybe this man is like her in the reality, a loner. But she was wrong. The man is living in the spotlight while she was living in the dark.
