The War of the Ring is finally over, ushered in by the Fourth Age and a battle marked by far too many losses. Long-desired peace settles over Middle-earth, but the wounds of war run deep. And yet: sometimes hope prevails. Lithil and Legolas have managed to step beyond their own shadows and admit their feelings for one another. Now they may call each other husband and wife, even if Aragorn and Gimli will argue until the end of their days over who was truly responsible for bringing the two lovebirds together. As a married couple, Legolas and Lithil travel together to Ithilien in this part. A land that holds so much promise and occupies a great place in both their hearts. Freed from Sauron's shadow, it is meant to bloom anew. Together with Elven aid from Lórien and Imladris, the Elves of Thranduil's realm attempt to build a new city. Hello! This is the rewritten and improved version of my other book "Journey to Middle Earth" (which only had a few cringe worthy chapters). Best friends Tori Clark, Fae Sullivan, Jordan Diaz, and Kim Min-Ji are diehard fans of the Lord of the Rings, and the world of Tolkien. When they find their high school is offering a senior field trip to New Zealand - the place the films where shot at - they can't help but jump at the chance to go. But soon they find their trip goes awry. They find that they have somehow landed right in the fantasy world of Middle Earth. At first they are ecstatic, but after tangles with Orcs, nights spent in an unknown forest, and many more unfortunate events, they find that life in Middle Earth may not be as great as they imagined it to be. Time and time again their loyalty and friendship is tested. New friends and the beginnings of first love are created. Courage is found, and lessons are learned.

You have heard the story of Faramir, the son of the steward of Gondor. But have you heard of his best friend Maria Mayflower, the daughter of a high-ranking officer in Gondor's defenses? Maria grew up close to Faramir due to them being the same age and both high-ranking in the system, she knew Boromir to but never saw him as anything but Faramir's brother. She had a deep love for books, songs, and the old tales of a more magical world. Along with Faramir, she built a treehouse in the forest outside the city walls, this was where they would spend their free time. They would read and sing until their hearts where satisfied, and it was during one of these reading days they stumbled upon the concept of a Bloodbeat bond. A Bloodbeat bond is fairly simple to form, but must not be formed unless the friendship is true or the consequences will be disastrous for both parts. A Bloodbeat bond lets both participants feel the heartbeat of the other alongside their own, and feel how far from each other they are. Maria and Faramir succeeded in making this bond and promised to never be separated by anything. But as with all promises, this was not easy to hold, especially when most things seeming to want to separate them... ((I do not own the universe or any characters beside Maria and others that I make up. The credit for the universe is going to Tolkien, obviously. I made up the concept of Bloodbeat bonds, so if you want to use that in your story DM me and ask for permission and credit me for making the concept.))
